You missed the point of the reply so I'll spell it out. Youtube is a monopoly. Nothing YOU or even a mass of people can change this. The only way for anything to change is 1 of 2 things. A real competitor emergence which is practically impossible now. OR large government bodies (EU, Japan, USA or Canada as just about everyone else is too small and even CA is probably too small) actually implement and enforce their anit monopoly laws. Otherwise youtube and other large corporations since 1970's will keep doing what is currently happening in the world and will continue to degrade in quality to the point of near uselessness. Discord is a prime example on a much shorter time scale and reddit after they realized they are not making money.
