it doesn't look as bad ingame works very well as a 67 since they had these lights i still feel like id just leave the dev to do this at some point
It looks great, Much better than what i could have done. i know this is a bit of an ask but could you make 68-69 triangle taillights to go with the later model fenders/guards. Anyway great job and please don't give up on it it looks great .
i decided to hault the project for now idk if ill ever get back to it since i lost interest in trying due to the fact alot of the parts are completly new designs unless MrX13415 finds a model online to put in the mod or somthing idk
That's ok, I understand I tried making a vw thing body and it did not work out, anyway great job on what you have already done.
So ya know how herbie can float on the water? What causes that? I’m planning on making a hovercar mod, and it will float on the water. So is it like some property or something?
I really like this mod, but I do feel like the presets have much to be desired. Every version has GT Radial tires, even though only 2 of the real world cars had them. I also believe that the color is way off than L87 pearl white. I have re-done the "Love Bug" preset to try and fix it. On the left is the original preset, and on the right is my recreation.
Do you mind sharing the configs? I'm not an expert on Herbie stuff so any help and input is welcome. The color is really hard to get right due to the source material being very color inaccurate.
Can your share the *.pc file? It's located here: %localappdata%\BeamNG.drive\0.31\vehicles\bug In the parts section you will find the front and rear suspension. There you can change the Wheel Hubs, which allows to fit almost all rims and tires. Within that you can find the the Wheels and Tires.
I completly made the stock herbie (from the love bug movie). btw theres the .pc file if you need it. i had to pack it to a zip file becouse beamng dosent let me insert a .pc file. --- Post updated --- Theres some other nice configs if you want to see them.
