Just thought this up. When you start the game you can choose from a library of people that you downloaded (you can make them too) and play as them. Anyone like my idea?
Maybe for the tech demo, (If there is one) but since this will be intended for actual games I don't think it's really needed.
Hahaha yeah! It would be more fitting if "Mythbuster" posted your comment. I think Buster is a perfect name.
How about Gerald? I can think of nothing more appropriate for someone who will have horrifying accidents all the time and survive them all than the most formal and sensible name known to man, one that begins with a G and ends in "ald". Hell, if that wasn't enough, it even has an "e" in it.
'kay then... WE CALL HIM BUSTER! There. Happy? Okay, all kidding aside, Buster does sound cool, but... I say call him BeamBot Build him from joints and bones and it's a fitting name as well, to me at least. Rolls off the tongue easier than NGBot too. Either that, or we call him Bob, or Geoff... (No, don't last-minute change that to Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust, that would be mean...)
Yes, you just made my day. Anyway, I like BeamBot. If not, what if they used a clever acronym for the name? BeamNG Ragdoll Observing Driving Injury Brodi (BRO-dee) might not be the best name, but you get the idea.
I think that something like this shouldn't be official. It should be what people like to name the guy, if I want to call the guy Gerald, let me call the guy Gerald, if you want to call him Bob, then be my guest. Personally I'll be calling him Gerald regardless of anyone's opinion.
