Re: General discussion chat Sweet zombie jeebus, you cant even own an airsoft gun? wtffff. Come to the US, ill get you an airsoft gun from down the street. Hell, ill get you a real gun if you wanna graduate to something with a lil more oomph Ill take care of you bub
Re: General discussion chat It won't be long till they ban cap guns, I've got a nice metal one from 1997, I wouldn't ever get rid of it though.
Re: General discussion chat Why is Australia so ban/fine happy? From guns and toys that maybe could look like a gun, video games, to minor car mods, its either banned or theres a fine for that. I don't get it. When i was travelling there people on several occasions seemed excited to tell me I could be fined for whatever thing I might be doing slightly wrong, like having the handlebars of my bike sticking out the window of my car a few inches.
Re: General discussion chat Yes the mod laws agenst cars is ridiculous, We can't drive our project Holden because it is a V8 with a non factory fitted turbo...
Re: General discussion chat WOAH WOAH WOAH WHAT!?!?!? AUSTRALIA HAS LAWS AGAINST TURBOS!?!? WE WERE PLANNING ON FITTING AN S480 Borg Warner TO THE XJ6 :O
Re: General discussion chat A few years ago a friend and I tried to make a silencer for our .303 to shoot a computer screen in the back yard it exploded (the not so silence-er), both times good ol days. Or government wanted to ban everything including slingshots and wait for it........rocks, thats right, you may not have a rock. Luckily, like most government ventures, it failed.
Re: General discussion chat From what I've seen on a car modding forum with a huge Aussie membership, you can get an engineering certificate or something for the mod and then re-rego the car.
Re: General discussion chat We were going to redo the rego on it, To much money and screwing around, By the time we put paint on the car we were broke. So now it's licensed as 'limited use' - - - Updated - - - Depends on engine output, Turbo size and if it affects the safety of the car in anyway.
Re: General discussion chat Man, hearing these modding rules of Australia have ruined my dreams. If I never get enough to buy my dream Diablo, I just want to re-make one of these two cars. Body kit + Spoiler + O.Z Tyres + Metalic Black + Flame Vinyl or Flossman widebody + spoiler + red cali's + blue on white + vented hood I wanted to mod an M3 or Mustang to that, which would be awesome. Put in an aftermarket exhaust and engine. Maybe even a turbo. May break the bank though....
Re: General discussion chat Before starting any modifications I advise you check out your road departments regulations agenst your ideas, Just to be on the safe side.
Re: General discussion chat Wat, they were going to ban rocks? The heck is wrong with those people Sent from the 3rd galaxy via the talks of tapping
Re: General discussion chat Does anyone know what is the synonym for those small, boxy-ish electric cars?
Re: General discussion chat I do believe they are referred to as "useless junk", but I could be wrong.
Re: General discussion chat No! I asked it for a reason! - - - Updated - - - Because I need it for something and Google image search doesn't find what I was looking for when I type "boxy crap"
Re: General discussion chat Lel, that's a GTR. As slammington said, there are only 10 around, all selling for well over 250K. And if you did somehow get one and make the slightest modification to it I would have to find and murder you. - - - Updated - - - You mean this one? It's called a useless junk.
