Bit of backstory with this car, I have lots of fond memories of a 1997 Toyota Corrola G6 (not g6r), black, fully optioned out with the electric sunroof wheels and the iconic red strippy interior, its carbon fiber design dash and the green clock, if it wasn't the Top gear bugeye Subaru estate then this was the car that started my love for cars. it was owned by my uncle and it holds a very special place in my heart, unfortunately, they had to sell it around 2019, and in 2020 it went up to the scrap in the sky due to it being parked without tax (cheers Newham council) anyways. This is my first mod ANNDD first time modeling so its gonna be one hell of a ride, making this cuz ive been on the forums long enough and thought id give it a crack, ive never modeled before and progress is slow and the reason im making this thing lore friendly is partly because i want it on the repo, and partly because im to s. h I t to model this thing remotly close to the actual car. here is ''progress'' yes it is just the bonnet (shut up) mainly because i have collage 5 days a week and i dont find modeling very fun (atleast for now) so would rather spend time playing other games or revising. reference for what im kinda going for: Progress WILL be slow, not only because my dumbass cant model but also cant even make a livery mod work longer than a month so lord have mercy. (im making this here because if it was in the land section i would have people who signed up in 2023 complaing that i shouldn't post unless i have enough progress(this is not a bad thing btw i agree which is why this is here)) Q & A for the 3 people who read this far: Paid? - ABSOLUTLY NOt please spend your money on good modders like lucasB,E lj74 or literally anyone else Wen relz? - yes Help? - please Will you make X version? - if monkey brain can make base car, yes
Howdy, Starting a full vehicle as your first mod is a horrible idea, start with something smaller and more manageable Additionally, its usually recommended that you have some sort of modelling experience, JBeam experience, etc Finally, all those 2023 people are correct, because I'm near certain this will be dead within a week. Feel free to prove me wrong, but you give me very little faith in your ability to make this work
From what I've heard its not that comprehensive, the blender addon only allows you to add nodes, not triangles or anything robust, just moreso as a visual tool for viewing it
started ruff modelling wings, after dinner i plan to try and smooth them out, then hopefully start on the front bumper
gonna have to redo what i have done tomorrow because windows decided that my blender folder was a virus or something and removed it during a disk check up, yayyyyy
