If anyone requires testing 2 of them going in opposite directions round Nardo I don't mind releasing yourself of the burden.
--- Post updated --- How to make a oversize Gavril B-Series look like a joke: --- Post updated --- Also, I am highly skeptical even the B-Series can pull it at its real weight. 1000 tonnes. It won't work if I adjust it to real life weight. I left it at 500 tonnes for now. I am still in the process of making an actual legit truck for this specially to pull 1000 tonnes without tires slipping. --- Post updated --- PM for VIP BETA Release. Only to those who PM. I don't have time right now to go through mods submit process. I am moving to another state and busy. otherwise i have to wait a week till it goes thru submissions process mods approve blah blah blah
The only way this can be pulled is: 1. B-Series with tanker upfit, 39000 KG milk setting (acts as rear ballast for traction) 2. with ranged transmission pulling in low gear setting (high won't work). Get ready for your epic heavy haul simulation with real world physics. Thanks to me and BeamNG. Not even ETS2 pulled this off. Current weight: 500 tonnes --- Post updated --- A scene straight out of Fast and Furious Vin Diesel "So much torque her chassis used to bend coming off the straight away"
In that case, T-Series or B-Series completely needs a special upfit like this one below as an example (The Trailer they're pulling is a massive transformer and there's 3 trucks pulling in total) And yes you're not mistaken, this MAN Truck have a whole-ass cube boulder on its chassis and counterweight (for the rear wheels) metal cube on the fifth wheel. Considering only the B-Series have the equipment such as the Tanker and the Crane support on the front bumper (which you can use to attach with the tow hitch, you can control both trucks at once unless if the front truck misaligns, you'll get what I mean if you test it out yourself) It's a lot easier to pull this massive behemoth with 2 - 4 B-series. (Do correct me if I'm mistaken with some of the things I've said)
You are very much on the money. That is intentionally why I felt uneasy about releasing it as is. The current B-series pulls this but the frame isn't rigid, the chassis keeps flexing on pull like Vin Diesel's car in Fast N Furious movies, and it's just very rough on the engine unless you have a low-range gear. The only reason I went forward with this project knowing it needed a beast prime mover specially for its own is I wanted other people to experience real-world physics of a ultra heavy move in the best current physics engine available. Very few platforms let you experience all of this. I am UBER BUSY at the moment but I will be making a one-off monster just for this. I already got started on a Benz Actros if you see previous posts. Nicolas Tractomas trucks are my inspiration. Something like this will need a special transmission with ultra low range "crawler" gear.
I think I had a fifth wheel which wasn't different than the vanilla fifth wheel except for the fact that it was heavier for rear ballast I think?? I don't know which mod added that and I can't remember if I still have it at all.
that’s why I love beamng. real world physics + mods that are used in real world = unique digital experience which no other platform gives you
If you're talking about the other trailer and the ship ontop, lol no. I don't have the knowledge to make an entire ship, so... The only thing I made is that T-Series configuration.
Is there an available link to download the Turbine Trailer mod? Or do I ask for a permission with the mod author first
