Weird "thing" on my skin

Hello, I was recently making my first skin for the Hirochi Sunburst, however for some reason I get this "thing" on the right side of the car, near the front wheels:


After checking my .dds file it turned out that this part was reflected there (hood and roof):


I have no idea from where did it come from, even after re-looking at the UV map of the car. The only way to get rid of this is to remove the parts of the skin on the hood and on the roof.

Funnily enough, it is normal on the left side of the car:


Is there any way I can fix that?

 

That’s really strange and definitely not intentional. Sadly dunno how to fix it other than changing the UV map of the Sunburst (aka modding) or waiting for a fix.
Do you use any mods by the way? And did you try clearing cache and deactivating other mods?

 

I've tried cleaning cache and disabling mods, same thing.
However if I change the right fender from Sport S/RS Fender to the normal right fender, the reflection is gone. I guess I will use that fender for now

 

Yup, vanilla Sunburst quarter panel has one glitched quad there, you can't do much about it, unless you want to fix it manually and pack it as a separate mod. Or wait for devs to fix it, because it makes the game literally unplayable.
