New Mitsubishi Triton!!!11!!11 I have been waiting for this for some time, and let's say I am happy. Still going rallying, and has twin turbos!!!! Oh I love this truck so much. (And has a manual)
They're gonna do a Navara based on the Strada for the next gen of that Nissan truck. And I am fine with that, I don't care if it is almost the same (Xpander and Livina moment)
I found a better one. It's cheaper, in better condition, and (slightly) closer. It has a 400ci V8, as well. Silver with a black vinyl top and red interior, she’s a rust-free beauty, and a steal at that! Only $3,000 buckaroos!
The guy on Facebook Marketplace has not responded yet, and I doubt he will. He probably sold it in-person.
So a little while ago I could search the entire country on TrueCar to see what a given make/model was going for. Now it auto-detects my location and I can't find a way to make it stop. It only lets me change the ZIP code, not get rid of location filtering entirely. Maximum radius is 500 miles, so if a car isn't listed in Alaska, I can't view listings for it at all. Is there some way to trick it somehow?
would you rather a low power N/A i4 that loves to be revved and pulls to redline? Or modern small turbo i4 that has lots of low end - mid range horsepower and torque but starts to fall on its face after only 5500 rpm? found myself asking that after test driving a new mazda 3 turbo hatch very fun but in manual mode it doesnt like to pull to redline. I love revvy i4s if im gonna get an i4 its gotta be rev happy my N/A mazda 6 after a 91 octane tune will pull to 6500 rpm. I determined i had more fun screaming all the way to 6500 rpm in a slower car than i did driving a more powerful turbo 2.5. What would you rather?
I have a tune on my 2.0 Turbo I4 and it revs to around 7000 and goes way faster than a NA could so id rather take that.
I like N/A engines basically on the principal that they are more simple. Especially an i4 must be simple. I enjoyed driving my 2008 Kia with the 2.4L Theta I (N/A). It is torquey, responsive, loved to rev out and take a beating.
I'd go N/A too, i have a Opel 1.2 with 75 hp, put a cone filter for shits and giggles, flooring it joining the highway and struggling to keep up with trucks is so much fun
it's fun for a while until you get tired of being slow. the answer to your solution is mazdaspeed3 with a slightly bigger aftermarket turbo and you get your "modern" I4 mazda but pulls out to 6500 easy. of course that comes with the cost of reliability so I would take the low power N/A because fixing the cars are expensive and annoying.
