Average conversation on the forums „I want to do something someone may not like” „No” „But why” „Ah yes you’re 5” Maybe just waiting it out until release is the best option…?
this much flex is realistic tho. old airframes were made with the materials and engineering knowledge that was available at the time. they had a lot of flex. even modern airframes flex a lot under stress since it's better to bend and not break than to be rigid and snap under heavy load. if you give a large, sudden control input in an old bird like a b25, you could very well permanently bend something or even rip off a wing if you're flying fast enough. exceed max velocity in any plane and a large control input will make it wobble or even rip it apart. pilots have to know the limits of each aircraft model they fly, and know how to avoid exceeding those limits to fly safely. just my 2 cents as a former helicopter pilot trainee who studied a bit of airframe engineering in flight school.
The B25 is the most realistic aircraft mod, the antonov, cessna and canadian aircraft are the hardest to fly beca Also, Canj you make that engine has their own throttle button or axis to make it even more realistic --- Post updated --- Uhmm Liveries, Fed Ex, United, American, Turkish Airlines
As for the controls, you could do the same as the Antonov because there are many people who have the Antonov and are used to it and if you do the Antonov controls you will have a better people reviews because people will say that because people will say that is easy to fly
Yeah by pulling the elevator to max at high speed, or on gridmap --- Post updated --- Even swiss001 has difficulty to fly it, that why I am giving an advice
I do to The b25 is good but the weight distributions is off casing it to pitch down if not actively pulling up and for me trim doesn't work. the me 262 is up there with the b25 though. --- Post updated --- if you do this have a combined throttle axis and individual throttle inputs to.
if you do this have a combined throttle axis and individual throttle in. for me trim makes the controls no longer function.
Average BeamNG airliner project: Mod Creator (likely under age of 16) - "I want to make the _________. I have some modeling done, zero scripting, zero textures, and zero physics." Guy who's been waiting for an airliner in Beam for years - "Yay! Can't wait!" Normal Person - "Wait, do you know how to do anything other than model?" Mod Creator - "Uhhh... No." Normal Person - "Then it won't work." Mod Creator - "Project canceled" Guy who's been waiting for an airliner in Beam for years - "Not again!"
this guy would have his mind blown when he realizes that there are people who have English as their primary language
What is that supposed to mean? If English was his primary language, it wouldn't help his case as it would insinuate he be more proficient in English than any other languages he knows. He talks like a 12 year old and he's begging for a mod to release early specifically from him. He left like 7 or 8 replies asking for the mod to be given to him specifically. As someone who makes mods for other games/software, that's incredibly annoying. I'm not the author of this mod, so I'm not going to continue to engage with him or tell him what he can and cannot do, but as someone who has dealt with his kind dozens upon dozens of times, it gets pretty annoying and pretty embarrassing pretty quickly. What do you want me to say? Besides, this mod will never be released regardless, so it doesn't matter. Just let the thread fizzle out and die like it was going to from the start. Making car mods in BeamNG is one thing, but making decent airplane mods is totally different. --- Post updated --- Time and time again this happens. They never learn. You'd think it'd be easier with discord and allat but apparently not
