7:34.7 here, low downforce preset. Not gonna lie, there were moments where it did not have enough downforce and I had to learn to go much slower in one spot, but here it is. The high downforce and aggressive presets were just too handicapped on the straights. Update: allowed myself to try it against the Super 2000 from TPU's Formula Ibishu. Had to tune it a bit so that it only sent me to the wall on every other corner, not just every corner. Almost twice the power, half the grip, +50 km/h top speed: 7.06.3. Note that while my F4 time was mostly due to my skill issue, the Super 2000 actively tried to kill me, sooo... In conclusion, Carbonworks F4 for precision at the cost of top speed, Formula Ibishu for that raw power.
A pleasantly high-quality mod, though I can't help but notice that the chase cam seems to be slightly off-centre...
"Slightly"? Very, a lot more than the Lansdale camera used to be I almost wonder if it's another weird intentional thing
Definitely not intentional. I think I messed with the monocoque Jbeam width and forgot to adjust the orbital camera's offset, lol. Will fix once I'm back from vacation
Here is my lap time for nordschleife full. There is a lot of time left! I have used custom configuration with low downforce. I think I can go 4-5 seconds faster with better lap and refined configuration. Commentary: It feels this car has too much rear downforce for formula 4 car! You can run very little rear wing angle and almost no disadvantage in corners!
While a Formula E replica isn’t realistic there is a series that does use F4 chassis with an electric powertrain. Could be interesting https://www.erachampionship.com/
