Yo! I started making this mod some time ago and wanted to share this with the community, its still very unfinished and in its first stages so stay tuned. Made this thread for future updates & suggestions. I hope that it wont be cancelled, and it will make it to the repo one day. Nice idea, but I suggest changing the fictional name to Roth Stasis or something since this is an Opel.
About the name in thinking something like "Roth Russel" considering that Calibra's factory was in Rüsselsheim
I like this project and where it's going! One thing I can suggest however is for details such as lettering, it'd be much easier and space-saving to instead make a flat surface where lettering should be, and use materials to add details. You can look at the official BeamNG cars for reference.
Thanks, but it's an english forum, so stick to english and leave polish for DM's . It' really confusing when someone writes someting in a different language on an english forum.
For today i've managed to get some interior pieces and made some JBEAMs, so expect the car to make it to the game soon! The models are made by mrk_mrow_mruk
Got it! The car made it into the game, still needs fixing and other stuff. Almost gave up today, but it turned out i was missing materials.
I would credit the source of the model. without tracking down the author and gaining permission either, you won't be able to upload it to the repository. --- Post updated --- also, you should jbeam the panels separately. the nodes you're looking at all upfront are for the front frame, which should be under the body panels, not lined up with them. each jbeam only contributes to the flexbody (section of the model) it's mapped to.
The model is made by a friend of mine (mrk_mrow_mruk) and i have premission from him to use his model.
You might wanna double check because from a quick search the model seems to be sourced from hum3d, with some parts minorly decimated. (hence the weird polyflow on someparts, definitely not vertices placed by a human) Not to say you're lying, but someone may be lying to you.
