I kind of disagree. Specially considering that the dash has lots of straight lines. It Also reminds me of the Super Beetle steering wheel. Anyway, I believe that a two spoke steering wheel would look better
It's my first time doing complex textures so yeah, I too think it looks weird. Not sure how to fix it but I bet we'll figure it out.
I do think the steering wheel should be more squared off to match the rest of the interior design. Either: Or They would both look more inline with the boxy interior design
you should start beta testing when everything got textured and good modeled i recommend it since mods can have bugs at the start
Sorry for bumping, but it looks good! It reminds me of the Volkswagen Beetle. A Mexican taxi version of it would be nice, as they were popular back then.
UPDATE 01/09/2023 Early version is now availible in the reposistory! Unfortunately the modern interior is on hold now, but i left it in the files in case someone knows how to and wants to finish it. It's a 0.1 because there's a lot of planned things missing and there are still some little bugs. Known bugs: - the front is slightly shaky, but it's only noticable in the Prima config or in some crashes - nothing is actually strengthened because i lost the files and i only noticed it after the release (embarrasing) but i'm currently working on new and hopefully better strengthened parts and i will fix the issue asap (this might fix the previous issue too but i can't promise anything) - the configs only show up after enabling .pc configurations, and i can't give the configs any description and performance data - some configs might have a wrong part here and there, but so far i only noticed that on 2 configs - the Medaglia 150S and 150R has a kinda crappy suspension, but that will be changed soon aswell Hopefully you'll still like the mod through these issues :> Also, we're looking for someone who can do some modelling, so the dashboard can be finished and some special parts can be made. Any help is appreciated, if you only know simple modelling there are some small things left to change such as changing chrome parts to plastic.
Very nice. This was worth the wait. I thought this was on hold, and surprisingly, it's been finally released after two months of silence.
Nice mod! I get the struggle with not being the best at modding and not knowing some things, happens to me too D: Now I sadly don’t know modelling too well to help, but I do know how to make the configs show up without having to check that box - info file. Look at - for example - what the I-Series Knallhart (one of my favorite configs ever) has: - cool.pc - cool.png - info_cool.json I recommend taking an info file from a vanilla car (the Piccolina for example since that’s what the mod is about), renaming it to info_configname so the game knows what config it belongs to and editing the name, descrpition etc. An info file also makes it so the box doesn’t need to be checked for it to appear, plus description and performance stats. Hope this helps! (Also yes I am everywhere) EDIT Changed stuff to make sense + I accidentally wrote I don’t know modding, oops
i'm pretty sure that's what i did because i also did it based on vanilla piccolina configurations, but i'll take a look at it again. thank u for the help
