Update Speculation thread

Pretty sure nothing was to come on the circuit of americas map I read somewhere a while ago, same with multiplayer. Never heard of big island.
Been mostly out of the loop for a bit, take what I say with a grain of salt, but unless there’s some recent developments, none of these are going anywhere

 

Since they didn't deliberately tease them, it's likely that if those things are coming, they'll still be a long way off.
I wouldn't expect to see anything about them for at least 12 months.

Like @Car8john said, the Bruckell Chivala is being added. But, what if the Bruckell Chivala and Soliad Palisade are the same vehicles, but the Soliad branded van is the Chrysler version.

The name of the minivan in development and also in the list of concepted vehicles is the Bruckell Chivala. Although my thought of the Soliad might not be true because I looked at Car8Johns drawing of it and realized it's actually a Pontiac 2 door, not a facelift of the van, lol.

 

On the original concept stage from 2013, there was a vehicle called the Bruckell Chivala, which I speculated was a minivan because Chivala on urban dictionary is:

Which is definitely the type of thing Gabester would have done on purpose.

Anyways the whole running joke of 'The Bruckell Chivala is being added' is that I speculated the Chivala was a minivan from like the mid 2000s and since this minivan could also be American and from the same time period that it is the Bruckell Chivala

Oh I had zero idea about the Soliad Palisade when I made that drawing it was one of the vehicles with the least amount of info given to it so that was like almost entirely a guess

 

Then I think theres a 50/50 chance it'll be a pontiac 2 door or just a facelift of the Chivala.

 

If they make the Palisade a coupe I sure hope it looks better than mine, Can't remember why I was up late drawing it but I do remember seeing it again when I was less sleep deprived and cursing myself for making the hood so damn short on it

 

Nah your drawing looked pretty good, it looked better than the cars I usually draw.

 

I expect the update to arrive during the last Gambler 500 event.

 

With Leaked Circut of America. What kind of motorsport cars you think we will see in game ? Only F1 and F2 ?

 

The update will likely be published either directly or shortly after the winner of the Gambler500 modding contest is announced, as updating the game before then could break the contest entries. It is even possible we see the release of the update in conjunction with the announcement of the contest winners

 

I don't think Formula cars are happening soon, nor do i think they actually intend to release COTA publicly, it's probably just used to test the handling and overall performance of the cars

 

I hope you are right. I think Circuit of America will be similar to Johnson Valley and that we will se some class of motorsport like F1, F2. To get potential of new map and maybe tire thermals

I will not expect it to be released but I will hope for it to be released.
