It looks kinda cool but, the naming makes no sense. Why would Hirochi make a car based on the pessima? Why not just have it as a special variant of the pessima? Maybe something similar to the Honda Accord Euro R

No shit. I know that. It just resembles the pessima too much for it to seem like a separate car. The mod could be based on one car but have the name based on another car (eg. the bluebuck is based on a dodge custom 880/buick lesabre, but the name is based on the chevrolet impala)

 

if this is a japanese car, why would they brand it as a car from an american company to be sold in its home market? the name is nice but doesn't make much sense

Pe-glant means Pegasus and Glory.
It will be a car hard to drive haha
