I have watched the livestreams and I thought that, if I would be playing the game, some things could be rather annoying/bothering/not interesting/not needed, etc. I am talking about the smoke from the tires and the random debris flying around. Why did that bothered me? Because I couldn't see every singly little detail of the impact of the car. Personnally, I'd love to have a clear view on a vehicle colliding with something, without my view being obstructed by smoke or random s**t flying from the vehicles. So wat about the ability to "Turn That S**t Off"? What I mean with that is this: It'd be absolutly great to turn features like smoke, debris, etc off if a person does not wish to have that in game in some sort of "Settings" menu. But, we could go a little further with that. The ability to turn off (if these things are going to be in the game) ABS, traction control, waves, clouds, plants, rapists, virtual puppies, icecream, ninja assasins, Santa Claus... You name it. And what about the sound? Maybe I love the roar of a V8, but not the clanging and banging of a car smashing into a wall. So it'd be great if we could Turn That S**t Off. Wait a second... That would sort of ruin the concept of the game... But still, maybe others dont like it... Because they... Hate fun or something... :-/ Anyway, without the BS now, what about the ability to turn surtain things off/on in a settings menu, so people aren't forced to use features of the game they do not like? And I'm not talking about the general stuff, I'm talking about all those little things (which are often the most annoying).
Hmm, good idea. We'll probably have these settings available, but maybe (just maybe) not so in depth. This is a question mostly for the devs to answer.
Awesome, I can't wait for the moment I come to BeamNG.com and everbody is crazy talking about the alpha that has just been released. If you may answer, is the release close?
Hehe, I love it how BeamNG can seemingly never let us down. It's like you guys can read our minds or something.
Eeerhm... Sorry, but I can't see attached thumbnails on my phone and my PC is acting weird. :S Can anyone tell me what's on that attached thumbnail? xD
Portals are used in games, for example, if you touch the portal you are sent somewhere. It's the default Torque3D stuff, like Hutch said. It's not the portal from the game portal.
