Do you haft to put these files in the Huayra folder or can you put it in the mods folder since for some reason I can't put it into the huayra folder. When I try and copy the files into the folder, it says the file is invalid or corrupted.
v1.5 (14/04/2023) - Thanks to AbdullahBemath27 for the below changes! - Fixed gearbox lua - Improved interior glowmap - Materials fix on the engine
Yes, you have to overwrite the files, because there will be conflicts otherwise. And the process works fine for me; please redownload the file again as it may be an issue on your end. And speaking of which, since my fix was not included with the recent update (you can use said changes without my permission as previously stated, jojos38), it can still be applied. Until it is incorporated in another future update, it's completely optional if you actually care about more accurate glowmaps.
Is there any possible chance to reverse the interior changes made by Phaien? I know that their update was supposed to be an improvement, but it just made the mod worse with completely useless stuff and screwed up bits of jbeam my lights weren't even on yet the interior has lit up gauges
Phaien's changes were the navigation screen. Don't think he/she made any Jbeam changes other than that. The interior lighting is on IRL regardless of whether lights are on or not. But can be easily changed
This mod is too old for this game, it should have a full jbeam remap but I'm not sure who would want to do this
as long as the huyra is nice to drive and dont have major texture issues i'll keep using it with or without bad jbeams
There are too many Jbeam problems because this mod existed way back, at least 2018 or earlier. The constant changes are too little to keep up with the pace that this game updates and changes so a full remap will help it a lot. I don't have a list of probalems because there are too much to count. II tried to fix some problems but the more I fix the more problems it has so I retired from modding because of how painful this is. I'm not sure if anyone could take on the mental toll of remapping this mod so yeah. I have a version with better tires and that version was much better than the current public release because my tires were apparently not realistic even though multiple sources claim otherwise but if you focus on handling then this mod should still be one of the best. Ok back to retirement
