Update Speculation thread

Does QA Stable usually get updated multiple times before an update? From my understanding, QA Latest gets updated multiple times per day, Creator Program gets updated once a few days before making it a big deal that it's been updated twice, and that Stable gets updated once, as little as a few hours before the update? Is there significance in Stable being updated twice in a few hours?

QA_stable is for final testing, and minor bug fixes.

 

So there isn't much significance in Stable being updated multiple times. They probably just found a minor bug. Thanks for clarifying.

 

Yeah. Just like last time, the update was supposed to launch December 10th instead of 13th, but they found a major bug.

 

0.28 will release december 14th

 

Nah, it's April 19th. Here's why:

1. Stability testing: The developers may have scheduled the update for a Wednesday to give themselves a few days to perform stability testing and bug fixing before the weekend, when more people may be playing the game.
2. Marketing strategy: Wednesdays are often seen as a good day to release new products or updates because they are in the middle of the week, and can generate buzz and momentum leading into the weekend.
   
3. Feedback window: By releasing the update on a Wednesday, the developers may have the opportunity to collect feedback and bug reports from players over the following days, which could allow them to quickly address any major issues before the weekend.
   
4. Community engagement: Wednesdays are sometimes referred to as "the day after teaser Tuesday" because they mark the halfway point of the workweek. By releasing the update on April 19th, the developers may be aiming to engage and energize the community with the teaser midweek and keep them excited about the game.
   
5. Precise timing: April 19th is the third Wednesday after April Fools, which leaves the developers over two weeks for any jokes and fake speculation to disappear from the Update Speculation thread.

I also agree with the update being later. Idk for me it hasn't seemed like update time, like the Teasers have been a little vague in the sense that we haven't seen a whole car. For the K-series we just saw the rear bumper, for the 800 series it was just two halves of two different models. As for the Automation track we don't have a whole lot of information on what they're doing with it. Is it a remaster or is it just PBR and a little extra grass?

Sure, this could just be another tactic for making the update release unpredictable. But yeah idk. Maybe we'll get like a big teaser tomorrow and then the update is released on wednesday, who knows. But thats just what im thinking

 

The stable build has been updated, that’s more than enough evidence to assume the update is soon…

 

they never gave 4.5 weeks for creator program. the 19th isn't very realistic, but i do agree with the wednesday. but, we can't really say that because the last 2 updates didn't release on a wednesday

absolutely. but remember the little screenshots we got in the last 48 hours before release of 0.27? like the editing screenshot and the desert bus?
