Man builds up reputation and popularity by making highly requested bike mods but then whips out reverse card and does this

 

Tax auditors aren't dumb. If they see a pattern of regular transactions, they'll be pretty quickly be asking questions about exactly what that money is. It would be the same thing is someone was making regular cash deposits in their bank account.

Anyway, this is getting off-topic at this point. What I'm saying is the idea that he's doing it to skip taxes is just not correct. He can skip taxes (which he shouldn't) no matter how he receives the money. Even someone selling stuff through gumroad could just not report the income and hope for the best.

 

While tax auditors are not dumb, they also aren't scrutinizing every single transaction done on paypal. They are much more likely to look into a business transaction than a personal one. While they would question the volume of transactions, they would notice a bunch of undeclared business transactions before a bunch of undeclared personal transactions

The guy who started the airless tires mod only had one config be able to have the tires as a "demo" so... Tires might become paid

this literally takes no effort compared to a car, therefore should be free, these paid mods are getting out of hand, most of them are more trash then the ones on the repo these days.

 

I think what´s getting out of hand is the ego-centered ellbowing give-it-to-me attitude, only "me first" existing, no politeness, no tolerance for other views. If he wants to sell it, so be it, no use whining about it.

 

You can use the tires on other cars and configs, it's just that the airless tires have limited tire sizes.

Also, I'm very sure the repo release wasn't a "demo", it is just that the airless tires one was given to donators.
The first line in the mod's description is "Hey there! Its been a long time since I've posted anything here, so here is an old mod of mine that i never released"

 

He's not specifying what payment option to use here anymore because he's just gonna beg you to use it in emails instead, purely to avoid future criticism i would imagine?

One thing's for sure; I was planning to buy the bike mod at some point, but now that ain't happening for a loooong time.

never said i wanted logs, i said it should be free as usually props and things are free and hed be better off having it free than have it be paid, I dont usually even use props, its a thing of common sense, not just me wanting it (which i am telling you i dont) and also, how come i'm being targeted if other people are saying pretty much the same thing, the reason i said it should be free is because its littarally a log bridge, and idk if its just me, but i lose interest in mods, and if its a prop, i probably wont even use it tbh, but like, he had many other choices to make a mod paid, and out of all those choices, he chooses a log bridge.

oh so nowadays if you say one thing, people throw fits, good to know, the repository and the forums have numbers of free mods, so they obviously put effort into their mods, but most paid mods are so trash, take royalrenderings for example, he makes the crappiest paid mods ive ever seen, I dont give a crap about what you say, I am not arguing, i was simply providing feedback on the post and you two made a deal out of it.

In all seriousness though the OP is free to make and charge whatever he likes for his content, that said given that most high end vehicle mods (complete scratch made cars with unique models and textures and jbeam, not to mention multiple parts and configs, made to the highest quality over hundreds of hours) can be had for around 3.5 euros, my personal financial advice is to not pay 2.50euros for this (which tbh you can honestly make yourself in about 30mins with some decent jbeam knowledge and knowing how to download sketchfab models), but rather save up an extra euro and go buy a Picnic or Signia instead
