Could this be because the 12 speed gearbox is actually a 6 speed that switches between low and high range so the gear sticks should move differently from what we are used to and they still have to implement it?
I'm expecting that the T-Series will get an animated shifter when it receives a remaster, one that will more than likely also include the ability to use range splitting for heavy-duty transmissions such as the one in the T-Series.
Did anyone notice this? On the Automation Devblog thing, they said they were going to revamp their test track Excuse me, what? This seems odd how the Beamng Devs are also working on the test track This will be interesting Edit: Don't know why it posted double pictures lol
It’s not odd, it makes perfect sense. Both maps get remastered, and we might get a new track! Someone did mention it on the other page, too.
I read further into the devblog That is a NEW track, and they are still revamping the old one This speculation is getting deeper and deeper
If they add this track, I think it will be on the same map because actually it's not a big map so if they really want to add this new track they have the space to do that in this map.
That would be an awesome addition to the game, but right now this may just be a odd coincidence. No way to say either way.
I'm not quite sure how the new oval-style track would work in the current automation test track that is in beamng. They would have to downsize it cause ovals take up a lot of space, even if they put it somewhere where there's more space, like the area around the airport
The more I think about it, it makes more sense that the tri-oval or whatever you call it would be implemented in a racing update There could be so many more racing options added with the remastered ETK, it would fit together quite well The Automation Test Track map will probably be expanded if this track was added because it would be quite foolish of them to make a whole other map for this one track, while the test track could be expanded so greatly, that it could become a second gridmap, but with greenery
The new track looks really large, like daytona-talladega sizes, i mean, its got a whole road course inside of it. So i'm not sure how realistic expanding the map that big to fit the track is. If BeamNG is actually working on this new track, I wouldn't mind if it is a seperate map. Sure it's from a different game, but the Automation test track that's currently in game is wonderful. The road course itself is awesome. So if we get a large oval (something we dont have in BeamNG) that's as well made as the test track, I wouldn't be opposed to it.
