Thumbnail Generator not working

When i click on the "Thumbnail Generator" button, a blank window appears and this error message gets spammed in the console. It worked fine until recently, the only notable thing i did was use the automated testing.
Happens in safe mode

 

same issue, reinstall didn't help

@Agent_Y found out if you open the world editor (f11), go in windows>experimental>icons and leave it, the thumbnail generator will work again. Probably a little error in the code that causes it

It kinda works, but the option to "do only missing" is not shown.

 

I noticed the missing preview only option isn't there anymore either I also found that with vehicles that have lots of configs from mods, or a combination of mods and official configs for vehicles like the D Series etc, the preview generator messes up on some of the configs, taking a screenshot of the back instead of the normal side view

 

So I tried to run some thumbnails but nothing even shows up after I click the "Thumbnail Generator". The interesting thing is that this doesn't happen in safe mode.
Also, whenever I save a new config, it doesn't generate a thumbnail upon saving, and the external camera goes absolutely crazy. Probably a mod but idk which one.

 

The Thumbnail Generator only takes photos in 1000 x 562 after doing the world editor fix (idk what it is for you normally, but it usually does 4000 x 2248 four times what it's doing now)

 

have you tried turning it on and off again

 

Open the world editor (f11), go in Windows>Experimental>Vehicles Thumbnails (OLD)

 

Not long after posting what I said I figured out that if you add the thumbnail generator app to your hud and open it, it opens the normal generator and takes photos in full quality.
