Ideas for potential ETK 800 and K-Series Remaster

I just found out about this section, so i wanted to share my ideas for the ETK 800 and K-Series.

Different body styles

Because the ETK K-Series is mainly based of the BMW Z4 E89 and BMW 3 Series E92, I think a Cabrio version is missing in the game.


Also I think a Sedan version of the 800 would be nice, because it seems to be based on the BMW 3 Series F31, which is also available as a sedan (F30)


British police variant

Currently there are only german "Polizei" variants in the game, but I have noticed that the UK uses BMWs in their Police fleet too. A british police variant would would be a nice addition in the game in my opinion, especially on the ETK 800.


Engine

The BMW M3 E9X features a high revving 4.0L V8 with 420PS. I think something like this would be a great addition to both cars.


Tuning

Currently there are almost no tuning options in the game for both cars, which is pretty sad considering that they seem to have a huge potential.
The 3 litre I6 currently in the game seems to be based on the B58, which is a tuning beast. Some ECU/ Turbo options would make these cars way more fun imo.

Also some bodykits and ducktail spoilers would make them to a tuner paradise.

Let me know what you think about those ideas.

 

Great idea! Eventhough I don't think a remaster is necessary, I do like the idea of the cabrio and sedan and the v8.

 

A remaster is definitely needed.
The interior is abysmal up close, as well as being extremely lackluster everywhere else.

With American Police Liveries, like that pursuit livery from Grand Marshal and Sunburst or the Bastion Police Livery

 

Are there even american police BMW IRL? I have only found german and british ones.

 

I think that doens't have a official one, but have some customs made by some people, but I think that it can't be used.

Note that it has old lightbars

 

Funny you say that, considering there are official references to the sedan in the files, but no sedan to be seen.

V8 moment

 

You could get some inspirations from my ETK Pushrod engines mod and put a dual intake manifold LS swap!

 

The k series could be a rival to the SBR so around 400 to 500hp should be a range topping config. Also, we need true luxury models for all etks

 

Bring back the amber turn signals on the K-Series!

 

Man i fully agree on this one, since its supposed to be a German car, right? So the configs with the EU licenseplates should have amber turn signals. I even made a thread on this some time ago.

 

Regarding their interiors i really hope that both K-series and 800-series won't only get remastered materials but a rework of 3D model.

 

Agree, when I first saw the car I thought it was a car size similar to c class coupe or a5 or 4 series.

 

I live in the U.K so a British cop car would be awesome.
