the spikes are in between 1 to 15 sec long, and i can barely play from 5 to 30 seconds at 40-60 fps before happening again. it can go as low as 3-9 fps.

My laptop is a acer nitro 5:
    8th gen I5
    Gtx 1050
    8gb of bad ddr4 ram
    Somtimes cooling issues

But even when it is not hot, it happens. i tried using a trottle stop for lowering the cpu clock and avoiding heat, but even when i use the fans at max, it stills lag.

i always play with everyting in the lowest settings and at full screen 1600x900

english is not my main leangueage, so sorry. hope that i am understandable,

Does this happen on every map? Even for me it happens on Johnson Valley, it's massive.

Also, for the cooling issues, try cleaning out the dust from your laptop. I did that and all of the issues stopped. If that doesn't work fully, get external fans and put them next to your laptop (and one of those laptop cooling pads that goes under). It should do the trick, worked for me.

to me it sounds like your pc is throttling, as beamng hits the cpu specifically pretty hard. try cleaning out our pc, that should resolve your issues.
i personally also play on a laptop, so frequent (once maybe 1-2 months) cleanings by just blowing on the exhaust/intake of the fans fixes any problems.

You blow on it with your mouth or compressed air/ fan of some sort? Blowing with your mouth gives moisture along with the air, you don't want that. I usually take the laptop's bottom off and use a fan to blow the dust off.
