why cant we have a paid mod section/filter so we can stop having paid mods mixed in with the free stuff and have a rule that if your mod is paid it has to be listed as paid under the paid section or filter im getting tired of this paid mod phase gone are the days when people made mods so everyone could enjoy them now all we have is greedy people wanting us to pay for there hobby
Those """greedy""" people are making a profit off of their hobby which is such an amazing thing. They aren't greedy, you're just ungrateful for the amount of stuff you do have. Hell, you even have demos of the paid mods to play around with. Its not wrong to want to make a profit off of stuff that they've worked on tirelessly to the best of their abilities.
I agree with your first portion, they need their own dedicated and moderated repository on this site so they can become far more organized, and hopefully make those trash Patreon mesh rips less appealing since all of the good stuff will be universally available in one spot. the second thing though, just sounds like salt. and yeah, I mean, I get it; but not every free mod is going to disappear with the popularization of paid ones. It simply comes down to the modder. Wanting to profit off your hobby in some form isnt unacceptable in my books. I don't even have a paid mod I've created, and I don't think I ever will, either. Just like its your right to not pay for mods and express complaints, its our right to charge for our work in the first place
