Alright whats the definition of "Good BMW" here because there are like 3 good cars Bring-Me-Wrench ever made.
once 2000/2001 hit their cars started looking like bars of soap and became a mechanical Rubik's cube to fix when the warranty expired and badge faded like a used toothbrush stylistically bloated and mechanically garbage
Rebuilt Sunburst RWD with a new steering rack that doesn't break under heavy load. (Had to build the entire setup around 1deg less wheel lock and different ackermen) Rebuild every single RWD I-Series (this is done so often it's almost meme worthy) --- Post updated --- I may tweak my 200BX setup but I'm not sure, I dunno if I care that it sucks at Utah, it's a very hard setup to perfect and is quite good at West Coast USA where I care the most for that particular car. --- Post updated --- I do typically throw my car through what I call the "Gauntlet" which is.. can it drive well at Utah's Canyon road? Typically if it handles the narrow road and can conform to the radius of those corners well enough then it's a fairly good build.
Rebuild the Bluebuck Configurations (2 of them) Rebuild 4 Grand Marshal Configurations Rebuild Pro-Grade Vtec 80's Pessima Rebuild Pessima AWD Sport Rebuild D-Series Config --- Post updated --- I have to revise a few minor things then build Info files... sigh --- Post updated --- I hate info files.
Now you can identify my setups easily and determine if they have Default Parts [Bronze] [800-Series Setups on this are actually just fine btw] Aftermarket Parts [Silver] - These configs are not really inferior at all btw, very good AWD/FWD stuff typically Pro-Grade Parts [Gold]
Made two more last minute configurations Battlewagon Legran RWD Conversion Legran Had to build custom bumpstops for the RWD one to make it actually good.
Welp, I've updated the mod after all this intense work. We'll see if it can get approved before Christmas.
Welp, I'm releasing the current version here (actually this one has an extra configuration as well for the fun which will get officially released after approval and more content is developed) Happy Holidays! V0.84 is now on the Repo, Download it there.
I think the wackiest config I have is the Legran Wagon that can actually drift kinda well at West Coast USA Which I remember initially you'd inspired me to attempt a drift Legran Wagon but it didn't work... With one of my last minute configs I built a proper RWD Legran Wagon and it's actually awesome now... It drives or drifts.
Working on making more in-depth steering rack customization. (This is on the Bolide, Ackerman here is measured bizarre to work with BeamNG but it still creates a scientific adjustment that I am okeh with) Fixed spelling
Except this one has completely custom suspension tuning on custom parts. --- Post updated --- --- Post updated --- Made a custom 8K RPM gauge for the I-Series, also made two racecars with completely custom bumpstops and fine-tuned steering just like the Bolides. The gauge is kind of a proof of concept and I'll be making more custom gauges in the future, it's worth noting I did bother to make this gauge cluster in Metric and Imperial variants.
