What if it wasn't a bug, maybe some marketing material or documentation wasn't quite finished? Those are just as important, especially for an update that is most likely IMMENSE!
I mean, considering how t h i c c the changelog's going to be, I wouldn't be surprised if the update was delayed just to complete the changelog. (0.25's devblog was 750 words, while the changelog was about 5,000; assuming a similar 3/20 ratio with 0.27, with a devblog of at least 2,700 words, the changelog could be over 18,000 words long. Which, I believe, would be the longest changelog by far. It'll likely be closer to 10,000 words, though, since vehicle content tends to get summed up with a couple sentences and some pictures. That'd still be really long, though.) EDIT: So, I copy-pasted some other updates' changelogs into a word processor, and here's what I got for approximate word count, as well as a ratio between devblogs and changelogs: Spoiler: Devblogs vs. Changelogs and a bunch of math stuff 0.26: Devblog: 800 words Changelog: 3,800 words Ratio: 4/19 ~ 0.22 0.25: Devblog: 750 words Changelog: 5,000 words Ratio: 3/20 = 0.15 0.24.1: Devblog: 400 words Changelog: 750 words Ratio: 8/15 ~ 0.53 0.24: Devblog: 1,000 words Changelog: 3,300 words Ratio: 10/33 ~ 0.3 0.23: Devblog: 900 words Changelog: 4,200 words Ratio: 3/14 ~ 0.22 Average Ratio ~ 0.28 1/0.28 ~ 3.57 ~ 3.6 2,700 words * 3.6 = 9,720 words Anyway, just a bit of me nerding out.
If it does come i will play for you ( i will smash with double the love ) the cars for you I think today may be the day or if not tihs week BUT next week is possible ( please this week )
Fingers crossed for today! And huge thanks to the devs for choosing to delay the update and deliver us a higher quality product instead of releasing a buggy mess for people to complain and fix later.
Well, we'll see if the next 12 hours bring an update. I wonder what the biggest surprise will be. There hasn't been a whole lot of noise about vehicle remasters this time around, so I'm wondering if something has been kept under wraps in that regard.
I was thinking they may of skipped the remasters this time. focused on all new cars. talking of cars this is the first car ( road one ( the bello van ) That is NOT a post 2010s car :O in years i think.
I'm going to school, I'm going to have a difficult day today. And I hope that while I'm at school, you guys will already be playing with the new update
The Wigeon and Wendover were released in June and March of 2021, so we've had our fair share of pre-2000s cars last year. Technically, the Covet MR is a different vehicle to the regular Covet, and that was only released last September. However, you are correct that it's our first pre-1980s vehicle in years - the Bluebuck was released in July of 2019, which is about three and a half years ago. If the K-Series remaster drops this update, I'd be quite surprised. Last Tuesday was probably the last chance for it to be teased again; we've been seeing way more teasers for remasters lately, and most of the vehicles coming to the game have been teased (in-game and complete) at least once. All we got for the K-Series is a widebody kit. A Piccolina remaster is slightly more possible, though; with the Bello Bus and Piccobuggy coming, there's going to be a lot of work done in that brand - work which could carry over to the standard Picco. We've had things like that happen before (LeGran/Wendover, Pigeon/Wigeon), so it's not entirely impossible. However, that would've likely been teased at least once - and it hasn't.

I feel like they would probably push the K-Series back to 0.28, assuming that would be a more road racing focused update
Yeah, that does make quite a bit of sense - and it'd presumably allow time for the 800-Series and possibly the I-Series remasters (if they are coming with the K-Series) to be finished to have an "ETK-themed" update. This update seems to have quite an "Autobello" theme about it, what with the new Bello Bus and Piccobuggy. Since all those vehicles are quite similarly built (and similarly old, all having been released between February and July of 2016), I think it makes sense to remaster all three of them together. The 800-Series remaster could be very complicated if it receives more than one new bodystyle. The I-Series could also maybe get another bodystyle - the LeGran got a wagon, and we've been seeing more and more bodystyles for vehicles lately, so I don't see why the I-Series can't get a wagon or coupe version.
