Update Speculation thread

Anyway...

With this update clearly KotH themed, I wonder if we'll see more future updates themed for specific motorsports. With career mode coming up they need to improve the motorsport situation in game.

Not just for content but game features as well; I can only assume we will see some off road gameplay mechanics in 0.27.

Some were suggesting that the team will be expanding the dynamic props for rocks in Johnson Valley. If that is the case imagine how great WCUSA would be with prop gates/signs/lamp poles

Ok but seriously, he said KotH, which is an abbreviation for the King of the Hammers event. KotH is also an abbreviation for the TV show King of the Hill, and a line used in the show a lot is "I sell propane and propane accessories" (because the main character works at a propane store)

Improved clouds/night lighting

Oh that'd definitely be a welcome change, the game is near impossible to play at night which has always annoyed me. And yeah, the clouds don't look the best at some times in the cycle

Sadly I think not all the content teased will be coming on this update. Specially that UTV that was seen offroading, it was its only appearance right?

i don't think that crawler thingy is gonna be in the update and neither is the argo

 

We've been over it many times that the UTVs were for illustrative purposes only. They are not coming to the game any time soon, as they aren't even in development. They were just .pngs grabbed off of Google Images

 

I understand your point as you don't wanna be disappointed, but when devs said that these stuff have been in the development for years , my opinion changed, i think that we do have a chance of seeing all the content in one update unless there's a game breaking bug related to the content

would surely be fun to see them together, then maybe tire thermals and the K-Series remaster in another part of the update?

 

I'd rather see the tyre thermals make it into this update, but if its not ready then so be it. I'm willing to wait if thats the case (not like I can do anything about it anyway )
