I found a bug where my configs (before the giannini configs update) would not start after i shut down the engine. It has the beater starter but when i changed it to the stock starter using the same config it still doesn't start. The engine has a repeating starting sound that goes on forever. I don't know why but ONLY happens on some mod maps like the Nordschleife or Arashiyama touge. I'm on 0.26.2 and i have only updated the mod a week ago.
Probably map issue, not this mod, the starter has realistic torque so idk why it wouldn't start, maybe the altitude of those maps breaks things somehow
also regarding the starter, on my end. I have to press "V" twice for it to start. is it meant to be like that? (the first time I press it, it runs the starter and the engine to an rpm lower then the actual idle)
Some people are having this issue and others not, I have absolutely no idea why that's a thing and what could be causing it to happen only for some people
I've encountered it when making an engine less powerful but that was a while ago so I can't remember how I fixed it. It only happens on certain engines which is why it happens "only for some people", because everyone is choosing different configs with different engines
You think I didn't test all the different engine combinations that appear in default configs? It still never happened to me in this update and since the previous one stuff like that has been fixed
the tow hitches don't really function like other cars, you can't press L to couple a trailer, and when you nodegrab it, the lights on the trailer don't work. which is a shame because i really wanted to use this nugget for virtual caravaning
You must have some conflicting mod because for me and AdamPLG the tow hitch works, as shown in countless screenshots of the car pulling the N250 and N126 trailers
welp, guess im going to have to turn off and on 441 mods one by one this should be fun --- Post updated --- as of now im pretty sure theres a mod thats screwing with my L to couple keybind. --- Post updated --- found out why the keybind was not working. turns out the same key that is used to couple/decouple trailers is used by the Fiat to turn on the interior light (does it even have one or is that a leftover from the og maluch mod)
I changed the binding in 1.6 so idk why it didn't update for you (unless I forgot) EDIT: Forgot to change it after all oof
I have this problem where after respawning the car a few times, the engine over-revs and only slowly lets me accelerate and only seems to stop doing it when I spawn it in again. I'm still pretty new so I'm not sure if this is the mod or just something I'm doing wrong in the game.
