The F750 diesel has a towing capacity of up to 37,000 pounds. The heaviest variant of ATR 42 (twin engine turboprop 48 passenger aircraft) weighs 26,000 pounds empty, so an f750 aircraft tug could tow an empty ATR 42 plane, in case anyone is interested

I mean in that case, so could an F-250/350. But only the newer ones, I suppose they needed tugs that size because an F-250/350 couldn't tow that back then when that Kodiak was made. This now makes complete sense, they had it so they could tow just about anything with one vehicle.

 

Wonder how big an airplane has to be to warrant a medium duty tug, most airports I've worked on either have a dedicated tug tractor, or

TECHNICALLY, a(n) F650/750 truck could pull an A380, I think steering and stopping become a problem, though

They'll decide upon a release when they feel it's ready, never rush perfection
