The Chevrolet C/K did have a 4.2L turbodiesel L6 for the Brazillian and Argentinian markets while selling V8 diesels elsewhere at the same time. Granted, that's like, one of the few instances that's happened, but it has happened - and with a straight six about the same size as the current Gavril truck six. I think Manfred proposes a better solution than mine, though. Fair enough. I guess I just want to have a big six that's at least moderately modifiable outside of the intake in this game. Many of the ~4.0-liter sixes only get like, 5-10 horsepower increases or decreases without nitrous or mods, with the Moonhawk six can't get any more power at all. The only way to go with the Hopper for power is down. Even the Bruckell L4s get superchargers and performance blocks now, so you can almost double their power outputs and make really nice lightweight versions of the LeGran and Wendover.
Tbh, for the modern Bruckell Pick-Up Truck, the V6 and I6 Turbodiesel options can both be offered. The V6 can also become available in the Bastion, for selling it in Europe and for offering a more logical variant for those who go many miles every day. The V8 Turbodiesel Pick-Up Truck niche is covered with the D-Series but the big I6 Turbodiesel niche (along with the V6 Turbodiesel sub-niche) can be perfectly covered by a new Bruckell Pick-Up Truck. --- Post updated --- I believe it's gonna be from late 60s to early 90s. This type of vehicle usually has a long production period.
The TD I6 also needs to be in the Bastion, as an aftermarket swap obviously. Let's do some crazy Westen Champlin Smokestang crap!
I can only assume the new van will have crazy amounts of customization including lights, bumpers, engines, tires, and lots more.
Dunno about being aftermarket by itself (after all, an official V6 Turbodiesel variant of such a car is very practical for many customers) but it certainly can have its own tuning parts - HD/UHD/Performance long blocks, larger/adjustable turbos, louder exhausts, adjustable ECU! edit: Oh, you're talking about the big Turbodiesel I6! Why the hell not?
Too Bad the New Map isn't gonna have a Big flat Space for reproducing " Smokey and the Bandit ll : the World biggest game of chicken "
Unfortunately , the scene seemed to happen in americain's North judging by how they used Canadian police car in it. And the Map is in southern America
I can imagine this vehicle easily having a 6x6 frame, day cab and longer upfits in addition to the shorter van pictured in the teaser. From various utility versions to customized beasts and dakar rally trucks. Ic could be available as a truck, a van and who knows what other body styles, and in several frames lengths. I’m going off of the buildings around it for scale, but I can’t be sure I’m completely accurate since there’s no other vehicles around. I’m guessing this thing is at least the same size as, and possibly a good bit larger than the H-series. It definitely seems wider with how far apart the seats are and is probably the same or slightly taller in height than the low roof h-series, I’m not sure about length but it’s probably reasonably long as well. On the topic of heavy duty trucks I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets large straight truck configs or possibly even a semi tractor version. This technically would make it the game’s first and only lore friendly European truck. I think we’re underestimating its size I sure hope so
Let me also add some thing about the map. I think that it is possibly the new map might not come with this update, or it’ll be a two-part update with the vehicles released first and the map coming later. I noticed that the buildings in the teaser seem to be a bit undetailed and low poly right now. I know it’s still work in progress and recently the devs have been working pretty fast, but I don’t know how far along the map is or how much longer they need to finish.
The map looks big enough for reproducing the Duel chase though. But on the other hand, Utah is already the go-to map for this.
