If GTA V has an interior car view, with animated thingies, then I will be rather happy. Then they just need to add in a manual transmission option...
You forget mods. First person camera has existed in GTA IV with mods practically since the beginning. Manual transmision will exist too.
Did you miss the leak? Google cached their page, which has since been removed. (Wouldn't get taken down if it wasn't legit, they wouldn't care). It was at: https://support.rockstargames.com/h...n-GTAV-and-GTA-Online-for-PS4-Xbox-One-and-PC About the manual trans, that's probably easy with a few mods.
Not confirmed by rock star and people have indeed faked the pages in such a way that google caches them as legitimate ones before. Can't really rely on that as true even if it was legit as clearly it was pulled so something is wrong
Could be indeed. But showing off interior view with a working dash in the 'next-gen' trailer makes me believe it, seeing as it states all the footage was captured on PS4. (imported from here)
I'd hope so, as this is not the case for GTA IV (unless there's some sort of mod I have not been able to find yet). The only one I could find just crudely limited the car's speed in each gear (or least it seemed so from the video, I never actually managed to get it to work...)
Been playing this on PS3 since launch. Torn between the PS4 and PC versions though. Might stay on console just so I can continue air thrusting with my current crew. Dem grafficz tho...
Which why I'm still deciding. PC will get (hopefully) better performance, more features and mod support by the community. But I'm not sure if it's worth abandoning my crew for that. The game just gets boring when I'm on my own. If you can sync your saves through social club and use them on multiple systems using the same account, I could even get both versions and switch back and forth between them. Not a very good chance of that happening though.
The only problem I'll have is that I won't have anyone to play multiplayer with. None of my friends play PC games.
I just hope that Rockstar has bothered to do that for all the car's interiors. It would be a shame if they just re-used the same few basic shapes for all vehicles...
Lots of cars do have the same interior, for example sedans/luxury cars have the interior shown in the pic, 70's cars / muscle cars have a more old-looking interior, etc. However, most cars in the same "category" use the same interior model.
That's what I meant. If they're going to have you viewing the interior from the inside, then each car's interior should be unique to that car, not reused over a series of similar cars, after all, it'd be like hopping into a Cressida to find it's interior was exactly the same as a Cedric.
Or getting into a Granger and finding the same interior of an adder Sent from the 3rd galaxy from the talks of tapping
