What's really weird is that we had teasers outside of Tuesdays for some reason What do they mean by this
Has only happened twice in the history of teasers (apart from the last 3 obviously) and it was shortly before a big release both times. Pretty unusual tho
i have a feeling ages ago, earlier this year when people were talking about 0.26, tdev said that 0.27 will be a big one (i THINK, not certain tho)
All this content is great, but I'd like to also see tyre thermals in my christmas stocking this year (Unrelated, but realised I recently hit 1000 agrees, mainly due to this thread I bet as I'm most active on this one, cheers lads!)
You mean his Q&A I assume, I’m not sure about him saying that it will be big, he did certainly talk about many planned features for 0.27 and 0.28, so I agree, it definitely sounded like sth big is coming --- Post updated --- Me too, let’s hope for the best
Now I understand why they added electric motors to the drivetrain drawing power from the engine. My mind initially went towards an official Belaz truck but the Labrador Beaver makes a lot more sense. Looking forward to see how it drives and how the petrol-electric setup interacts with each other
Yeah, Teaser Thursday happened again 2 years ago, on December 10th 2020, when the 0.21 was about to drop, and the D-Series Prerunner in its Late form (denoting the remastering of the whole vehicle) was teased back then.
Maybe the update is so big that it won't fit in one Teaser T/[ehru]{2,3}/sday? It would have to have been in the works since at least the middle of 0.25's lifespan if it's as big as it looks
Somehow I completely missed that there was a small off-road-only vehicle in the works too. Devs going crazy over here
Prerunner, piccobuggy, gas-station buggy, ETK van, cutesy AATV...those devs are working their butts off. I wonder if this was one of those super long in the making updates. If this is all a DLC I won't be surprised.
Quite frankly, given how this game is still in development after all those years, I'm happy they haven't turned to any form of subscription model.
