I hope that the new trophy truck have a normal variant (non off-road), but the off-road is Nice. But in my opinion It looks more a Ford Raptor, when the update lauchs, I will comparate the pickup with the Ford Raptor mod.

    You could also say:
The truck is a modern Hirochi since we don’t have modern pickups or a Japanese pickup and we only have two Hirochis (as opposed to 8 Ibishus).
The truck is a modern Autobello since we don’t have modern pickups, modern Autobello, or an Italian pickup, and we only have one Autobello.
The truck is a modern Gavril since we don’t have modern pickups, we only have 3 (or 4) Bruckells, and it could use Bastion parts.

Styling doesn't suggest any brand, but it doesn't really look like the bastion (though it could be older), and it is far too big to be an Autobello, though I guess you could say that it's a midsize? I can't really tell, but Italians don't really do this kind of thing. I think that that the Bstion engines are in common for a reason, and this truck is probably a Bruckell. A Hirochi could be a nice curveball, but I am still leaning towards an American automaker. Something new, like a GMC-esque automaker (Wentward?) could work. An independant racing company could be cool too, maybe Nomi? We'll just have to wait and see.

(Sidenote: I think the piano audio might mean more than just an unfinished drivetrain...)

Wow, I hadn't thought of that! I was thinking more of a unique engine they were trying to conceal.

I must say I hope the new map has some good driving roads as well beyond the epic trails that are presumably the focus, as well as some good rock climbing.

The fact that it remains so stable makes me feel like what we see is a Full-Size Truck. Ok, size isn't creditable enough of a reason by itself and the suspension components we see are super-duper but it's just a feeling I have.

I'm aware that lately, Beam's been going quite heavy on the modern stuff - in the past three-and-change years, we've gotten the eSBR, the FCV, post-millennium facelifts for the D/H/Roamer, the Bastion, the Scintilla, and soon, we'll be getting a K-Series/maybe-800-Series remaster. Now, we're up to seven (eight if you count the Vivace/Tograc separately) post-millennium vehicles, which is double what we had pre-2020. That's fantastic, since there was a huge gap of nearly four years between the K-Series and FCV releases.

Speaking of post-millennium vehicles, wow, does the new trophy truck look neat! It certainly doesn't look like the current D-Series. I reckon it's a 2010s truck, probably powered by the Bastion engine. I don't think that necessarily makes it a Bruckell, but seeing as a lot of trophy trucks tend to use engines from the same brands as their bodies (the Ridgeline trophy truck used a modified J-Series V6), perhaps we could see the same truck frame with some variations be used for multiple different trophy truck brands.

For example, a Bruckell truck with the Bastion engine, an Ibishu truck with a similar engine to the Ridgeline, a Gavril truck with a version of the modern Gavril V8 (or maybe an all-new V8), and a Hirochi truck with a flat-four/six, all with the appropriate body panels. That would be very cool to see, but i don't know if it will happen.

    (Also, new map looks nice.)

I really like the turning of BeamNG to modern cars too because there are many modern technologies BeamNG simulates in a great manner, with the modern multi-speed transmissions being among the most noteworthy examples. But then again, the palmares of technologies BeamNG can simulate isn't only restricted to modern ones.
As for the truck, it looks awesome indeed! It certainly isn't the D-Series though, because its lineup is already full of every version we can possibly imagine. I believe it is a Bruckell because, apart from parts-sharing with the Bastion, this brand needs wider representation in the game lore. Gavril has 7 models right now (8 if we count in the Burnside Special as well) and Bruckell only has 3 (4 if we also count the Wendover, made by the Soliad luxury subsidiary). Not to mention that there's a chance for the truck to cover niches never seen covered in the lore by the Gavril brand before (turbodiesel V6 for the 1500, big turbodiesel I6 for the 2500/3500 - the same turbodiesel V6 can also get in the Bastion).
As for the commonly used racing truck frame, it's getting a bit into cup racing and NASCAR territories. After all, a mass market brand making the same racing chassis not only for itself but also for every other brand to participate in racing doesn't make any sense.

I mean, Hirochi is underrepresented (it has 2 cars, unless you count eSBR as separate) and also

There are a few things to be said. The next update will most likely include the new map that looks to be based in the southwest of the US rather than being a part of small island, because they look too different. The update will also most likely include the new Italian buggy which looks to be based on the Piccolino. The new Baja/trophy truck looks to be a completely new design, and not based off of any in game vehicles. Judging by the fact that the bastion engines were recently added to the commons folder, they will be most likely used in the new Baja truck Although the brand of the truck is unknown, it is most likely American, judging by the fact that the upcoming update seems to be seemed around off-road stuff in the south west, a truck would most likely be produced by the likes of Gavril, or bruckell, but there is a chance of it being ibishu or hirochi, or a new brand. One thing that is certain whether the new truck is independent, or has a road going variant, the update will surely not disappoint and it will be a fresh new section to the game as there are currently no dedicated, off-road vehicles or maps in game.

(Note that these are my opinions and they’re just speculations)

Indeed it is but it doesn't look like Full-Size Trucks are Hirochi's cup of tea, does it?
