Not gonna lie, you singlehandedly inspired me to try to make good looking automation cars (haven't been successful yet). Keep up the good work, I know this thing will be amazing in the end!
Oh wow, thanks! I never even thought my work would inspire someone, I wish you the best of luck and if you want some advice, feel free to ask!
honestly you really got a talent in this i would consider switching to blender, your ideas are really good and with blender you could make em better the tempesta is the best it looks like a civetta would from the base game
Thank you! The Tempesta is the most detailed car I've ever made in automation as this is my favorite out of the 5 or so projects I am working on so I wanted to make it extra special. I really want to start learning how to properly use blender however I have so much still to work on in automation right now that it doesn't seem right to start learning at the moment if that makes sense. I don't know if this will go this way but once I've finished all of what I currently have in progress, I would like to see how/if I could improve them in blender and also properly Jbeam them and all that sorta stuff. This could take potentially a few years which isn't fast by any means but to make something this good takes a lot of time. Also since I am talking about potential future plans in this post, I would never make any paid mods as I want everyone to enjoy the stuff I made just as much as I do. This is just one of several hobbies I have and I don't intend to profit off of it.
WIP wheel well guards for the Tempesta, front are aabout 80% done but I haven't done anything in the rear. I am planning to restyle the rear end to look more like a Pantera and 308, might even try something with the front lights
Was unhappy with the way the wheels looked and how the rear end looked so now it currently looks like this. I would appreciate some suggestions as to what I should make the rear look like as I kinda don't have an exact idea of what I want. I was thinking maybe a mix of Pantera and 308/328.
Progress go brrrrrrrr. (yes I know this meme is kinda dated) Changing a few things made this car look so different, I'm really happy with the way it's turning out. Introduced some more ugliness into the USDM versions by adding 2 indicators on the front, changed the primary rim color, did a few more things that I am once again too tired to list here
Where can I get a real one? And are you sure this isn't just a leaked vanilla car? Kidding, looks sweet though.
So I wasn't satisfied with the Tempestas engine sounds from automation so I decided to change the engine sound to use the V8_flat_2_exhaust sound. I like it but I wanted it to sound just a bit different from the bolide so I tried to combine the V8_cross_exhaust sound with it but every way I could think of to do this made the engine break, does anyone know how to properly do this if it is possible?
I have to say, everything looks incredible except those popups. They are simply way too boxy and stubby. They should be just a little longer. Other than that, incredible work. Also the flatspot on the top is just odd. I've never seen popups looks like that. Should probably just be one smooth surface.
Now that you mention it, they do look a bit off. I'll try and get to redoing them fairly soon, thanks for the critique! --- Post updated --- I think these are looking much better now
Really liking how this looks, big fan of old Panteras! I have a suggestion though, could you add a version with closed headlights when the mod releases? I think it would look really nice and sleek with them down.
Thank you! Yes there will be closed headlight versions of each trim level I plan to include give or take a race or custom version with fixed headlights. Variants with the Popup's be denoted by a PH in the vehicle's name
Did just a little bit of work on it today. I think these taillights are very fitting to the car and kinda fit the Pantera/308/328 mix I'm going for. Also updated the design of the hood (not fronk).
Yes, they will have a stripped/lightened interior with proper safety equipment (cage etc...). I plan to make Race and rally versions with road legal Homologation variants as well. Guess I'll go into details about them for anyone who wants to know more. The 350 GTR will be the race config and the ???GTO (Haven't decided what to put in this one.). The GTR will be spec'd to group 5 regulations as well as have aero inspired by mostly group 5 Panteras. The GTO will probably be a Early group B car inspired by Group B Ferrari 308s and the Lancia 037. I don't know if I will include them in the initial release as they will probably take a while to make since both are going to be much more physically different from the standard production Tempestas. It could happen though however I want to get this released at most by January 10 of next year but I'd like to get have it done by mid December so it probably won't be in the first release.
