Those fuel prices are definitely not Australian. Seems like $3.99/gal, which is what you'd see in a southern US state. My guess is NM or AZ.
I admit that it would be nice and sensible if the small island map were incorporated into this new map (always as a separate island) if they decide to set this map in America as well. It would be unique for a map to have an island detached from the mainland and could also allow developers to implement the in-game teleport system (perhaps from port to port).
Maybe Beam is using a more generic type of currency (like beam buck's) would make sense for career mode?
Nah, "this month" is too risky of a prediction. Especially since the teased content is still being prepared.
I'm hoping for a December update, but they're probably just going to update on January. Too much content tease, not a lot of feature tease (other than ignition system changes) So I think it's going to be a heavily content focused update and the features mentioned by TDEV are going to the pipeline again for some more work
Don't forget about the new ABS!! But I still believe the 0.27 is gonna drop in December because we've already said that it's like a gift to all of us, the loyal fans and players! But one thing is for sure: not all of the teased content is gonna make it into the 0.27. That seems kinda impossible. But again, the BeamNG Dev Team is well known for the way they unfold surprises in front of us!
I love all the new maps and cars, etc. But I'm always scrolling straight down to see what new stuff they've added to the world editor, or the AI. As always, looking forward to it when it gets here.
Is the dinosaur the mascot of the gas station just because it's a small reference to "DinoСo" from the cartoon "Cars"?
In what way is that a reference? Both mascots are dinosaurs, that's all. Also, Cars isn't a cartoon... more like cartoon, amiright?
Likely the Tyrannosaurus branding of the fuel station hints the probable location of the map - these dinosaurs spread from Canada to Mexico, so once we take the environment (the dry vegetation, rocks) then I guess that it could potentially be in the southern states, such as Texas, New Mexico or even Mexico. Another question I have got now - why are they fixated on the fuel station somewhat? Maybe it is not a new map, but an expansion of the old one? Could it be a new map hinting at the Dry Rock Island, in which you spawned always in the fuel station.
