*Yes, I know we can't have true boats yet, but this is as close as we're gonna get for now. I don't know why, but I loved playing with the DSC Skateboard that Sam made a long time ago. Being stupid, I decided "Hey, let's drive it into the water!" It sort of skimmed across the surface, kind of floating. Fast-forward to 2AM a few days ago, I decided to make a "boat." Since there is no buoyancy, I figured out that all water did was increase the friction. Using the same concept as the planes and that the skateboard was the perfect shape, I set out on making this. 1 node, 4 beams, 1 collision triangle and 4 thrusters later, I had a somewhat boat. Presenting: The Skateboat Credits: DrowsySam-Everything Me-Thrusters and some beams Featuring: Floats at speeds above 10 MPH Able to turn using F & H and go forward using T Somewhat stable, do not go above 100 MPH Large tail keeping it straight in the water
No reason for you to not see it in attached files, its right there http://www.beamng.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=23860&d=1395418129
