    1968-1974 Packard Patrician

It is an American full-size luxury sedan built by Studebaker-Mercedes-Toyota. It is essentially a Mercedes-Benz W111 with a different body that resembles a Buick Electra mixed with a Chrysler New Yorker. It was made after Studebaker-Packard merged with Mercedes-Benz and Toyota. The Patrician used the W111's engines, as well as a 5 liter V8. It competed with the Buick Electra, Oldsmobile 98, Mercury Marquis, and Chrysler New Yorker. It was assembled in South Bend, Indiana.

It was a modest success, with around 100,000 sold by 1971. The Patrician, along with the lower end Cavalier and Clipper, were popular with fleets, due to their reliability, good build quality, relatively decent fuel economy, and relatively cheap cost. It was replaced by the W109-based Cavalier in 1974. The Packard marque was discontinued in 1980, due to poor sales. In 1979, Studebaker-Mercedes-Toyota surpassed Chrysler Corporation to become the third of America's "Big Three", after it bought AMC.

    1975-1978 Mercury Serval

It is a compact Mustang-based personal luxury car built by Ford Motor Company and sold by its Lincoln-Mercury division. The Serval was slotted between the Maverick-based Comet and the Granada-based Monarch. The Serval was available in 3 trims: Standard, XR-7, and GT. It was available with a 2.8 liter V6, a 3.3 liter I6, and a 4.9 liter V8. The Serval was a success, with around 620,000 sold. The Serval's success caused Chrysler to release the Plymouth Sapporo, which is a rebadged Mitsubishi Galant Lambda, GM to release the Oldsmobile Firenza, which is a rebadged Opel Manta, and Studebaker to release the Packard Mayfair, which is a rebadged Toyota Mark II. It was replaced by the Mustang-based Mercury Capri in 1979.

    2013-2020 Chevrolet Chevelle

It is a Chevrolet Caprice-based full-size sport sedan built by General Motors.

In 2011, Dodge released the LD Charger, which is a rear-wheel-drive full-size sedan. GM decided that it needed a car to compete with the Charger. Originally, a rebadged variant of the Holden VF Commodore was considered, but eventually, GM decided to make a civilian version of the Chevrolet Caprice PPV. The Chevelle was introduced at the New York Auto Show alongside the front-wheel-drive Impala. Production began a few months later. The Chevelle was assembled in Elizabeth, South Australia until 2017, when production was moved to Oshawa, Ontario. It was discontinued in 2020 in order to make more room for Silverado assembly at Oshawa.

The Chevelle was available in 3 trims: LS, LTZ, and SS. A police version called the 9C1 was introduced in 2017 to replace the Caprice PPV. An upmarket version of the Caprice/Chevelle was sold in China as the Buick Electra from 2013 to 2016.

The Chevelle was not a success, with only around 30,000 sold per year, compared to around 80,000 per year for the Charger. The Chevelle was sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Middle East.

    1989-1996 Bitter RSC

The Bitter Reatta Sport Coupe, better known as the Bitter RSC, is a German-American 3-door grand tourer built by General Motors.

In 1982, the small German automobile manufacturer Bitter entered into an agreement with General Motors. Bitter SCs would be sold in Buick dealerships. Bitter was very successful in the American market, which led to GM acquiring Bitter. After the acquisition, Bitter started tuning more GM cars, such as the LeSabre, Electra, and Corvette.

In 1988, Buick started production of the Reatta. A year later, Bitter released a version of the Reatta called the RSC. The RSC is a 3-door hatchback version of the Reatta, similar to the Honda CR-X and Matra Murena. The RSC's styling was based on the Murena, but with some Porsche 944 cues. The RSC had a 4-wheel-drive system developed by Ferguson and a Cadillac 4.5 liter V8. The RSC was assembled at the Lansing Craft Center in Michigan.

Around 65,000 were sold. The RSC sold a lot more than it's main competitor, the Chrysler TC by Maserati, and it even outsold the Reatta and Cadillac's Allante. While it didn't outsell it's main European competitor, the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, it did outsell a few other European competitors, like the more prestigious Bentley Continental R, Porsche 928, and the Maserati Ghibli.

The RSC was replaced by a more prestigious variant of the C5 Corvette called the Mako.

    Lancia Delta (1999 - 2007)
After the Mk2 Delta, which was pretty unsuccesful, Lancia decided to give this iconic nameplate another chance. This time the car used a new platform, on which Alfa Romeo 156 and Lancia Lybra were based, as well as Alfa Romeo 147, which was essentially a twin of this Lancia. The overall body shape was quite similar to the Alfa Romeo 147, with several differeces. First, front was designed to look similar as the Lybra, but it had headlights looking similar to the ones from 2003 Lancia Ypsilon, but with wider grille. One the sides, doors were different, with the same handles as Lybra. Rear end would have similar appearance as Lybra estate, but with more overall shape similar to the 147 and with longer tailights. All mechanics were sourced from Alfa Romeo 147, with 156's 2.5 V6 engine added as option, but some stuff like suspension was more comfort tuned. Interior was the same as on Lybra. Initially, it was available as 3 and 5 door hatchback. The car had strong surge in sales in first few years, considering the has proven to be well built, quite reliable and good to drive. Some of 147 sharpness was left, but the car was softened enough to be both precise and sharp, but also comfortable and soft. To celebrate 200K examples sold, in 2001, Lancia decided to offer a sport legacy model called simply Integrale, which had the same drivetrain as Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, but coupled with AWD system. In 2003, the car got facelifted. It received new front, taking some inspiration from Fulvia concept from the same year. Rear end got the rear lights facelifted to look more like the ones on Ypsilon. Interior got new gauge cluster, center console and steering wheel. In 2004, coupe convertible version appeared, which bore strong resemblance to 2003 Fulvia Concept. The model was called Delta Fulvia or just Fulvia on some markets. It was positioned to be much more luxurious than other Delta versions. Petrol engines offered for it were 2.0 with 150 HP, 2.5 V6 with 190 HP and 3.2 V6 with 250 HP. Diesel options included 1.9 JTD with 150 or 170 HP. Delta Fulvia was made in limited series and it's always had been luxury equipped. The car was discontinued in 2007, to make room for the new Delta, which we know as third generation. During its lifetime this Delta has numerous special editions, made to increase the appeal and exclusivity of the car. This car was totally produced in 585K examples, plus 26K Delta Fulvias, which made this Delta the most succesful Delta ever and essentially a car that made Lancia's position on the market much easier.

2007-2009 Chevrolet Equinox SS/Pontiac Torrent GXP

It is an American 5-door performance crossover SUV built by General Motors.

In 2007, to increase Chevrolet Equinox/Pontiac Torrent sales, GM released SS and GXP trims for both. The Equinox SS and Torrent GXP had a 320 hp 4.6 liter Northstar V8 and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SS and GXP were both all-wheel-drive.

The Equinox SS and Torrent GXP were failures, with around 6,000 built. The SS and GXP were both discontinued after the 2008 recession and GM's bankruptcy.

    Innocenti Florida (1990 - 1992, 1996 - 1998)
Following the introduction of their Koral, Innocenti assesed that they could move a bit more upmarket with a larger, compact sized car. Considering they didn't have money to develop their own model, they decided to use the same trick as with Koral. And they struck the deal with Zastava again, this time to make Florida. Innocenti's Florida wasn't that different from domestic Florida that much, just had Innocenti's badges instead of Zastava's. One "bigger" difference in appearance was that Innocenti Florida had indentation on bonnet, so that Innocenti badge would fit perfectly. Engine wise, things weren't much different. It was powered with standard 1372cc Fiat's 71 HP and 1299cc Zastava's 68 HP engines, where 1299cc was also available as fuel injected. Innocenti Florida also had 1116cc Zastava's engine with or without fuel injection. Fuel injected version had 63, while carbureted version had 60 HP. Trim levels were not present as such, but there were many options such as alloy wheels (same as on Koral), metallic paint (also same as on Koral, since they were produced in the same factory, in Kragujevac), then radio, central locking, side skirts, body colored bumpers, electric windows, aircon, etc. Following the sanctions in 1992, the Florida was axed from brand's range, leaving only stocks available. In 1996 however, Innocenti decided to give the Florida one more shot as a cheap compact hatchback, this time only with fuel injected engines. 1.1 with 63 and 1.3 with 68 HP remained, but one more engine was added, and that was 1.4 79 HP engine from Fiat Bravo. Examples having that engine were partially built in Italy. In 1998 Fiat decides to discontinue the Innocenti brand and that was the end of Florida's Italian adventure. In total, around 22K examples were sold under the name Innocenti Florida.

Based on an earlier post by @MrAnnoyingDude

    Alternate JLR-group

    Austin -
entry-level brand, competing with Dacia and cheaper Kia/Hyundais, aimed at young, price-concious, and fleet buyers. Offers rebadged Tata A to C-segment passenger cars, stripped Rover B/C-segment passenger cars and crossovers, an "offroady" D-segment crossover, B to D-segment minivans, and a van lineup similar to Ford's Transit/Tourneo line.

Rover - standard brand, with some models more entry-level premium, competing against VW and Peugoet. Offers standard A to E-segment cars, B to E-segment crossovers, and B to D-segment minivans.

MG - sporty brand. Makes hot versions of all of Rover's passenger cars, coupe versions of Rover's B to E-segment crossovers, B and C-segment roadsters, a mid-engine roadster sportscar, and a Supra/Z-car sized 4/6 cylinder GT car.

Mini - youthful, slightly premium brand. K to C-segment passenger cars, A to C- segment crossovers (including B and C coupe ones), electric versions of all cars, an electric retro roadster based off of MG's C-segment roadster, and B and C-segment minivans.

Jaguar - Similar to BMW and Mercedes. RWD passenger cars from D- to F-segment, plus RWD-based crossovers in these segments (including D and E coupe ones), C to E-segment Rover-based/FWD-based crossovers, C and E-segment electric crossovers, a 4/6/8 cylinder 2-seat retro Vantage-esque sportscar (F-type), a hybrid 8 cylinder mid-engine supercar (R-type), and a 6/8/12 cylinder 4-seat GT car (XK).

Land Rover - the cheaper SUV brand, selling a Defender as a cheap midsized pickup/chassis/SUV, a Defender-inspired compact crossover, offroadable BoF Discovery and unibody semi-offroadable Discovery Sport models, plus normal unibody FWD-based B to E segment crossovers.

    Range Rover -
mostly like in real life, but with added coupe Evoque, Velar, and Sport, and the big RR more aimed at the Bentley Bentayga. Big RR and Sport get V12s.

    2012-2021 Jaguar XK

Based on the XJ's platform, but styled like an F-type that's been scaled up to the size of a DB11. Launched only as a coupe, it was available with a 340/380HP 3.4L "AJ II" SC V6 (XK6 and XK6-S), a 400HP 5.0L "AJ II" V8 (XK8), a 485/510/550HP 5.0L "AJ II" SC V8 (XK8-S, XKR and XKR-S). The R and S models were all available with AWD. In 2014, the XK got a mild facelift and a convertible. The XKR-S was dropped, and the XKR got an increase in power to 575hp. There was also a new 490/555HP Ingenium 6.0L V12 for the new XK12 and XK12-S. The next year, the SVR dropped, with a 675HP V8. A bigger facelift came in 2019, with new Ingenium II R3/R4/R6 engines based the old Ingenium fours and threes. The old V6s were replaced with turbocharged 345/410HP engines (P350 and P400). The old AJ II V8s stayed, now only available supercharged, in P450, P500, and P575 R form. The V12s stayed, now all turbocharged, in P550, P600, and P650 R form. The SVR recieved a 700HP supercharged V12.

Note: This is going along the idea that Alfa is still Fiat-owned, and not based off of any other cannons presented in this thread or elsewhere.

    2018-present Alfa Romeo Gulietta

As Alfa Romeo was losing sales in europe, they decided to revamp the compact Gullietta. The original plane was to base it off of a shortened Gulia platform, but this was scrapped in favor of the existing Fiat Compact platform. The car was given styling similar to the Gulia, and was available as a 3 or 5 door hatchback. It was initially available in stripped Base, efficiency-optimised City, mid-level Super, high-end Speciale, sporty Ti, and warm-hatch Veloce Ti. All models, exceot for Veloce Ti were available with the 120 and 150 horsepower versions of the 1.4L MultiAir, and the Veloce Ti came with a 240 horsepower 1.75L MultiAir. Next year brought the 280hp Quadrafolgio model, with a 2.0L MultiAir, as well as a mid-range CrossWagon trim level for 5 door models only. It was updated for the 2020 model year, with a 250hp 2.0L engine replacing the 1750, and a top-level 300hp GTA with a wild bodykit. 2022 brought a tonale-esque facelift, and the demise of the 3 door and CrossWagon.

    1972-1983 AMC Javelin

    upload_2023-11-2_11-14-1.png
    upload_2023-11-2_11-13-34.png

Styled like the IRL Javelin but on a shortened, lightened Hornet/Concord frame (though not as short as the Gremlin or Spirit) as a hardtop coupe or a hatchback. Shares all engines of both IRL Javelin and Hornet. Competed with the Mustang II, Celica, RX3, and GM ponycars. Saved AMC money and brought in significant sales. It would become one of AMC's best selling models. A heavy refresh including a handful of Peugeot engines along with the AMC ones came out with the introduction of the Concord. It was replaced in 1983 with the 3rd generation Javelin, which was based on the Peugeot 505.

The Pacer project was abandoned, as the rotary deal fell through much earlier. The Matador II was not as hideous as IRL and was discontinued in 1979 due to it's competitors downsizing to the size of the Concord. They entered into a partnership with Peugeot in 1979 and began producing 505s, 305s and 104s in America and Canada.

    1995 AMC Lineup:

Talon: 306-based 4-door sedan or 5-door wagon. 2.0 8v or 2.0 16v engines. Styling similar to Chevy Lumina with wider grille.
Premier: 406-based sedan or coupe, with only 2.0, 2.2, and 2.9 engines, and no turbo.
Ambassador: 605-based sedan with only V6s available.
Rebel: N5-platform sedan or wagon, slightly larger than the Ambassador with a variety of engines: Peugeot V6s for normal customers, AMC I6s for fleets, and the 5.0/5.9 AMC tall-deck V8 for both.
Javelin:: N5-platform pony car with 2.0/2.2/2.9 Peugeot and 5.0/5.9 tall-deck
Eagle GX3 (Talon) and GX5 (Premier): offroad hatchback and wagons

N5 = heavy evolution of Peugeot 505 chassis.

I'd think they'd have sedan and hatchback (Kammback) models of the Eagle. In fact, in 1995, I'd be willing to bet the Kammback sold the most!
