I drew the new Unimog: I have dubbed it "ETK-VISETRAMA - Vielseitige Traktionsmaschine" for now, as a nod to Universalmotorgerät" a wonderful german word Spoiler: My old ETK Unimog design --- Post updated --- my bad, i confused it with the older Steyr-Puch Haflinger, which is very small.
You know what i like about our german language? Everything sounds like Cthulhu himself summons it in your ears why you have a really bad dream and its just beautiful
I think it may be a new platform. ? Like a H-series BUT from europe. With a cab over desigen AND something also classic ( There has been IMO way to meany modern cars now ) It seems this and the new pickup wow the devs are worknig there asses off wow. I think there wil lbe a box van. passenger van EVEN looks like a RV Version to. Now for engines who knows. Most likely a VERY slow fun to drive i4. maybe a diesel OR i hope a V4 ( i think ford tansit used a I4 ) And i hope some V8 swap ) It may be a Autobello. ? I mean we only have the one car from the brand. And it DOES remind me of a old Fiat van for some reason. or maybe a ETK. IF it is US ( dont look it to me ) then most likely a gavril with the fleet master v8 and the inline 6. It may be a wentward ( the bus brand ) And some diesels. Anyway wow they on a roll, the new ute ( pick up ) and now this van. Witch i cant wait for more then any new morden car. I mean what games focus on lovely classic vand. What drive awesomely bad. And have such love into them.
That's a nice beast! The "VISETRAMA" name is very fitting for the utilitarian purpose of the car but it sounds like it also includes the word "trauma" in it. It would only make sense for an ambulance conversion. I found a name too: "Mehrfache Nutzfarzeug", or "Multiple Utility Vehicle". For short, "MeNu" (for the menu/repertoire of its abilities) or "MUV".
You mean the ETK 4000/6000 mod? That's awesome but it's quite a bit larger than the teased truck we just saw.
I could see the new engines this bus brings being used in the I-Series. Maybe we could get a pre-facelift I-Series that’s closer to a w123, so 2 liter diesel engines like the om615 or 3.0 ones like the om617 inline 5 could be used more broadly. But that’s just my diesel-Mercedes-owning self dreaming. I think both the unimog and the w123 used 4 cyl carbureted gas engines too
This car for me is mix of Mercedes 508D with Volkswagen T3.And with new D-Series, Etk remaster and maybe maybe new map. December update is going to be greatest. But still retro sport seats, maybe we will see some old era sport car
We're going to also need a "rushed technical" themed mod, the kind of thing you would see hurriedly built from scraps by the common folk of a small country to fend off a theoretically much more powerful invader - and win! And for that, we will need a farmer-spec base model. Oh, and a HL2 beta-style assimilated Combine APC would be cool
A 4-cyl diesel, displacing 2 liters, is a good candidate for being kept throughout the production run of the I-Series, but I think the 5-cyl could be part of the pre-facelifted model (1985 - 1989), with an I6 diesel replacing it in the facelifted ones (1990 - 1993). Supposing that the diesel I5 displaces 3 liters, the big pistons produce some vibrations so the diesel I6, having the same displacement as the I5, can replace the I5 for refinement reasons. Plus, the ETK I6 diesel already exists in its modern form in the brand, so a lineage must be created to link it with the past.
Ok guys here is my hot take: We have been given so far a: Trophy truck configuration for unnamed pickup truck ETK bodykits Hot and Dry map teaser Eurovan with heavy offroad modifications call me crazy i think we are getting a map situated in Kazakhstan (a country known for being dry, with hot summers and cold winters) with a long open desert portion for dune hopping, shitty ex-soviet infrastructure, with the new eastern-euro passenger van, ETK's built for offroading, and a new offroad oriented pickup
That's the dream, but I don't know if many of you have noticed yet, the van has RHD wipers. It even looks like a Steyr-Puch Haflinger that got proper bodywork, and sure enough: Australia, it seems.
