Directly inspired by Chevrolet Avalanche/Cadillac Escalade EXT, this is a project I started today through which I plan to improve (or just learn) my modding skills. In terms of lore, there isn't much yet just probably that Gavril wanted to get into the 2000s SUV boom even more, so they built the "perfect" mix of Roamer comfort and D-Series versatility. Below are some photoshopped pictures of what I plan to achieve: And what I have currently: A more specific list of what I have done: - Deleted unneeded parts of the body mesh - Remodeled the tailgate - Modeled bed - Edited interior carpet - Edited rear seat position - Ported over D-series rear bumper What is to be done: - Finish modeling tailgate, add CHMSL - Fix little f-ups in model - Edit jbeam - Lettering - Configs What might be done: - Body cladding (probably won't be able to do this but would be cool) - Luxury subbrand edition (kinda like Escalade EXT) - Some new wheels - Some new engines - Midgate (unlikely) If you have any suggestions or want to help, let me know! Threw on some RoadSport cladding and it really does have some damn good resemblance to Avalanche lol. Might remodel it later and use for the real deal.
wow nice work man, ngl everything you have done this far fits the roamer look perfectly - especially those bed-to-roof pillars (not sure what they're called lol) but this is a great addition to the game.
This certainly is a cool idea, not sure if I got the skill to execute it though. But I will add it to the list nonetheless
Very nice but i wouldn't call it a roamer based pickup since the roamer itself is a d series base SUV... I'd rather rebrand it as a upmarket d series under the burnside name
New tailights would be a nice addition. The current ones don't take up the full height of the rear tray, something like in the pictures CH4RL3S sent would be nice. Very small but interesting changes anyway.

Jbeam is doing horrible things but model is looking good so far, just need to fix some f-ups here and there. --- Post updated --- Right, I have finished the model. It's not perfect, but it's something. Jbeam is untouched. If anyone wants to help with model/jbeam shoot me up a DM, would be appreciated
