Laptop Troubles

Hi guys, I got a Gaming laptop, ROG Zephyrus G14, RTX 2060, AMD Ryzen 9 with Radeon Graphics.
This laptop somehow struggles to break 60 frames most of the time on Grid map, And the FPS fluctuates wildly, Should I just get a Desktop PC, or can I make BeamNG.drive work on this?

 

Odd, how much ram do you have? Also how many mods? What settings are you trying to run the game at? I'd recommend a mix of medium and high on that setup.

 

Are you certain the game is running on the dedicated GPU and not the iGPU? Check via task manger, see what GPU is under load when running the game. And make sure you're plugged in, most laptops limit FPS on battery.

 

It has 16 GB RAM, trying to run it on Ultra settings, it has about 15.4 useable RAM.

 

Hm, I'd definitely do what @Sparks4 said, make sure it's plugged in, not overheating, and running on the dedicated GPU. Also make sure the refresh rate for dynamic reflections is set to lowest. That shit KILLS frames, even with a rather powerful computer.

 

did you try defrag hard drive because that’s why my dad told me way back when I was younger and it usually sped up my computer although I have desktop
