You can always have the trucks stock height, since the suspension is on air bags. That's what's awesome about it, it can be as high or as low as you want at any time.
I...I don't even know what to say. PT Cruisers are failed attempts to make a "cool" "retro" car. Ugly, unreliable, unsafe, and overall crap.
I don't think you can honestly look at that picture and say that PTs are unsafe because of it, it looks like the entire planet Mars collided with it. I also don't think it's really that ugly, to me it's just about as ugly as everything else made in the early 2000's, but everyone gets their own opinion. As for reliability, I can't really judge this much, but my friend's PT's transmission decided to explode while somewhat drag racing a Toyota, but other than that it's been fine, and it gets driven fairly hard, and often used for towing. At one point it got used for towing a Jeep Cherokee that was towing an MG Midget after the Jeep decided it didn't feel like running. One thing I'd like to say about PTs though, they can hold a lot of stuff when you fold down the seats, and they feel really nice and roomy inside, more than any SUV I've ever been in other than a Chevrolet Tahoe.

Eh, they might not have the most legroom in the back, but that's pretty much dependent on the front seat position in most cars. I didn't sit in the back much, don't particularly remember. Looking at that crash test video though, it does look fairly unsafe, especially the side impact test, but that's not really something I tend to judge cars on. I have an unusually relaxed view on my own demise. I'd probably rather own a Legacy wagon than a PT, I like Subarus.
Finally someone else. PT cruisers are ugly, and Chrysler, which means they are automatically cheap and unreliable.
Love how the video mentioned the PT Cruiser as being a small car. Its a pretty big car, it may have less space inside it than a small car (I have been in one) but I wouldnt call it a small car at all. Unreliable and in the UK, it wasnt cheap.
That too I guess. It did have the flimsiest looking plastic interior I have ever seen (actually, seen worse, but it was awful)
Common of american cars. Some of the higher end models have relatively nice interiors, though. If you buy a cheap, base car, it's gonna be ill fitting and flimsy feeling.
the PT isn't a very pretty car, but I wouldn't call it ugly. The thing with the green wheels up there is fugly, its malproportioned and idiotically designed. The PT cruiser always reminded me of 1940's cars with the general shape of the front and the grill. Its a melted version of a 1937 wolseley or something like that and I can kinda see what they where probably going for. It looks like they genuinely tried something with it, and I like it more than the uninspired cars such as the Nissan Sunny and such. Speaking of the Sunny, its wheels are too small these days and thats why I think its up there in the ugliest cars category (imported from here) Is anyone else annoyed by cars when the wheels look too small in comparison to such a bulky car body? The Chrysler 300c is a bulky car and I see so many people railing on it's ridiculous wheels... but it wouldn't look right with them any smaller. I see so many puffed up modern cary bodies with wheels that look too small and it makes it look so odd, and really ugly. Mind you, its not even that the wheels are too small, is it? The trunk and hood, even the doors are too high up. The car would be nicer if flattened slightly. The mid 90's sunny wasn't ugly, very plain but not an eyesore like this 04 model.
It looks somewhat better than the stock Multipla since the lights above the bonnet thingy has been chopped off. Still hideous. Agree. Small wheels ruin everything.
