Blody hell that's awesome, haven't seen it! Also, a panel van wouldn't be that difficult to implement right? I don't have any texturing skills but the windows glass 3D model can be used, just with body textures
I don't think it would be, but it's out of my skill level. Best I can do is automation at the moment.
ah yes. the 1986 Japanese Truckvet, the 1992 final first gen pessima rare Sabb "Liftback" addition to the Cargovet
is that the d-series tailgate? it looks so cursed. Also will there be a stretched pigeon tailgate option
Figured I'd make something that's never been done before. Front is pretty much done design-wise, rear is barely even started (that means it's not final!) Spoiler: Before you ask anything, please read this Quick Q/A to avoid redundant questions and cluttering the thread: Q: Is the F1-type thing cancelled? A: For the time being, yes. F1 cars are extremely complex and getting it to a level where I feel like I'm happy with it is a long process that I don't feel like continuing at this point. Q: What's this going to be? What is is based on? What's its name? etc A: This is based on a few modern euro "compact" vans, most notably the 2020 VW Caddy. At this point I am not sure what it's going to be, but most likely a euro Gavril as it's never been done before as far as I know and removes a lot of constraints I'd have to work with if it was a Cherrier or something instead, at least for the design (@Finn Wilkinson has helped me with said design too, mainly with the fascia and the -pending- rear end.) Q: Configs? Engines? Drivetrain? Different bodywork? A: This will be expanded on at a later stage, I just started modeling the bare shell at this point and I'm nowhere near deciding all that stuff. What I can say for now is that drivetrain-wise it'll probably just be a regular modern 4cyl turbo and fwd, with awd for some trim levels. It might get an electric version as well. This should hopefully come with passenger and utility models, with all sorts of customization mainly for the rear (different quarterpanels, doors, tailgates, etc) Q: When are you going to make a thread for this? A: Following the forum rules : when I have considerable progress to show (i.e. at least have it in-game in a somewhat basic state) Q: Will this be paid? A: It will. Most if not all of my full car mods will be paid with a demo version in the future. Props/other funny stuff will be free though. Q: Will it have a demo version? A: Yes it will. Q: When relez? A: As always : I have no idea. Could be 3 months, could be 6, could be a year. Nobody knows, not even myself. Q: Will it have X version or Y configuration? Can you make this and that and also this??? A: Please avoid asking this kind of question because it does not contribute to the thread at all. I have not decided on what I will do yet. This is just a rough 3D model for now.
I have already answered that question in the initial post in which I included a handy spoiler to avoid this kind of question cluttering up the thread
It doesn't look like a Ford Transit or a Peugeot and Citroën minivan, it's similar to Volkswagen Caddy. So maybe AW would be a little more suitable, because his prototype is Volkswagen
