the computer i use is an old computer from my dad and it runs smooth at normal graphics with 2 cars and 64 mods so, potato laptop gaming comfirmed?! (also i have roblox, RoR, Automation, and other games) --- Post updated --- thanks i love old BeamNG
The animated backgrounds was intentionally removed mainly due to the horrible UI bugs that it created for a good fraction of users (not for all, but for many), rendering the game menus a glitchy mess of pixel artifacts, which could not be solved. Some of you may remember the memes. Among other reasons, but that was the main one.
hey guys. anyone looking for the engine audio debug ? if you cant find it go to world editor then windows and then experimental and then to vehicle editor and you will fint it there. have a nice day
So I have my keybind to freecam as F8, I have my Drop Player At Home Without Reset keybinding as F7, thats what I've used for years to play the game, but since I upgraded to 0.26, when I hit F7, because I usually want to drop the car back to a certain spot in its current state, it wont drop it in the spot I want it to, it tends to be dropping it near there, and usually several feet up so it slams the car down. In the past I would go into Freecam with F8, find an exact spot and it would pretty much always go there, no matter how many times I do that, now it goes to that spot once when I hit F7, then it starts again sending it to its random spot and dropping it from the air? Has something changed with 0.26 that would cause this?
For some reason teleportation (F6, F7, F8 etc.) is now completely broken when the game is paused. It usually doesn't teleport me at all, sometimes does, and sometimes just teleports me to some black void for some reason and I fall infinitely. But with unpaused game it's fine. It's not very convenient, I hope it will get fixed.
It's correct that you included the ABS in the "Driving & Safety Electronics" slot of the parts selector, that's where it should be in the first place because it's a driving aid too. I hope it gets included this way in the parts selectors of all cars having the system and the Driving & Safety Electronics available. Also, the Race ECU of the FCV 2.5 I5 makes this engine sound amazing @8200rpm (or even more so anyway, because it already sounds amazing)! It's what I've wanted for a long time for the 2.5 I5 because I had noticed that it can rev up to ~8000rpm without damaging its valvetrain and exhibiting torque reduction. In a few words, it's awesome!! I also have a couple of notes for corrections regarded to the FCVs: The Vivace S 310 Arsenic Trackday doesn't have the Undertray. The Sequential Shifter doesn't sound as loud as it does when it's equipped in the other cars and the Hydraulic Handbrake makes no sound at all while (dis)engaging.
Probably discussed, by i lost all my car presets, and when i save new one i cant see it either, what can be the problem ?
The Pistol Grip shifter on the Barstow has a strange issue where one specific polygon on the shift boot doesn't move when the shifter changes gears Also, on the opposite side, there are another few polygons that have a similar stretching issue Neutral: First: Second: Third: Fourth: Fifth: Reverse: I understand this feature is brand new so it's no big deal, I just figure it's worth mentioning. (Another note, the shift knob likes to dislocate itself from the shift boot on a ton of cars that have this feature, especially the Bastion.) Quick question; the shift knobs are already separated from the shift boots in terms of meshes in the .dae files- is there a chance we may see customizable shift knobs and boots in the future?
since 0.26 the jbeam of some parts has strange spikes and edges, even with simplified settings turned off. (trunk in gif)
I think the prices of cars should be more based off performance, as certain cars like the Runner Covet and tuned Wendover have insane performance for their price range, beating cars twice the price
That doesn't really make alot of sense tbh. Those cars are the whole point of "built not bought". Either way since the runner covet is a one-off car, it'd probably just be harder to obtain in other ways.
https://www.beamng.com/threads/ibishu-covet-legacy.88166/ The download link is in the very last comment.
But what if they're used cars? It makes sense that way because, let's be honest, everyone puts their own little extra(s) in their car in order to customize it. For example, the Runner Covet looks ready to do one (and only one) job: expressway storming. Even lemons can be a part of the used car life scenario in Career Mode. And let's not forget about the functional odometers!
Exactly, that's a way of obtaining a used car too! Since the Runner's job is to obliterate each and every opponent on the expressway (and the LOL system provides a great helping hand), beating this car on, let's say, the WCUSA expressway network is gonna be a challenge of its own. Plus, when the aero model gets further improved, slipstream is also gonna play its role in such challenges.
