Updated after wayyyy too long of being left alone here. I have added an entire slew of new stuff and bugfixes to this version. Some of these things include: -Fixed body mount spoiler slot (no more exploding wings!) -added modular doors -improved V8 engine jbeam -fixed for .26 update -prolly stuff I forgot, it's been months I'm aware vanilla engines are starved of oil, use heavy duty + ultra heavy duty engine mounts in the meantime to get around this issue. As always, there is a more frequently updated version available in the discord server, as well as me being more transparent with what is going on vis a vis updates. I also must give a huge shout out and tremendous amount of credit to discord user @PeeledBananas because they supplied the patch that allows the mod to function in this update. See y'all next time I come around with a lil' update!
This makes me happy. I wasn't really too keen on downloading it before, but the inclusion of a V8 makes it 1000x better. Looks nice and thanks to the V8 will sound nice. LONG LIVE V8 I-SERIES FRONT END 200BX!
The V8 is a day 1 release feature I honestly can't make a full list of what this mod does and adds to the game simply because it is so vast and expansive, but there is bodykit pieces, engines, suspensions, wheels, actual bodies and more stuff I can't remember.
I just realized that it was. Whoops, I completely missed that, maybe I should actually read better next time lol.
There's also everything for the V6 from the Bastion to be put into the 200bx aswell, I just have not made the actual files so that it can be selected. It's kind of become a running joke that it will get done "soon" but... eh, maybe xD Best part, it was done at the exact same time as the V8, V8 just got priority to be put in-game and then I forgot about the V6
Well, at least you put the right engine in first. V8s should always have priority. Jokes aside (although it is true), where did the inspiration from tossing the I-Series front end on come from? I'd never have though it would fit the 200BX so well...
It came solely from my need for a pseudo style Silvia styled front end. The etk I had a front that fit the look very closely when paired up with the car... the rest is history I've seen it done with the Pessima, but I always felt that it looked slightly off, so I gave this a shot
Nah you have to put cruise control in a stock one and send it under a low-hanging pole, and BAM! convertible
Bahaha, it happens to everyone at some point! I have an update in the works... and a revamp, another whole mod and I'm working on redoing the Rotiform rims (found in this mod) to have many more options and be it's own release package. In short, I have a fair amount stuff in the works when it comes to this mod and I will be doing an entire "rewrite" of sorts for the currently released version to hopefully improve stability a little bit for the longer term while the larger revamps are being done. I'm also working on improving textures and UV maps just for the sake of slightly better visual quality. I don't have many things that are being worked on for this version of the mod, mostly because it's reached a point of spaghetti code that is truly difficult to untangle (also why I'm doing a slight rewrite). We will see if I adapt the revamp to take over the parts in this release, as seen with the previous releases having cut bodies as opposed to the central chassis piece currently available; that solely depends if I can recover the mess of files and code.
