    yea your right but you need clutch assistant on controller and blipping the throttle with clutch assistant is damn near impossible. I was a bit rude about this I was in an awful mood and was up at 3 in the morning so the combination of feeling terrible and being dead tired resulted in not very well thought threw typing. Anyways I'm here to prove a point so I'm back in the 0.23 version of the game (32 bit as thats the only option) and as you can see it's not bang shifting but its butter smooth without any of the weird hesitation and unnecessary little throttle blips in between up and down shifts. You can't tell me that the way it shifts now isn't completely borked. it seems obvious to me at least. I picked the Barstow 423 as it's a car that has not been updated between these two versions, so they are identical. I'm only pointing this out cause i love this game and want it to be the best it can be. :)

    I might just be blind but I can’t seem to find the script ai manager in the world editor anymore since 0.26… Would anyone mind telling me where I can find it?:)

    Does anyone know what mod is causing the ai to crash into each other. It doesn’t happen when my mods are disabled or is safe mode. Please help. This is kind of a game breaking one.

    Yeah i got the sounds missing too and the hotfix didn´t included a fix yet sadly.
    Minor things like that make difference to me

    Same way you did it in 0.25. you configure/ chose your new desired default car, the open the vehicle tab and click on ”set as default” or sth similar to that. You find it in the top right corner:)

    A few more bugs:

    The understeer reduction assistant will try to stop oversteer on some RWD cars for a few seconds, drive a car like the Moonhawk Donk with the understeer assist on but the oversteer assist off and it becomes apparent quickly.

    The road on Italy now has the same black lines in it that ECUSA roads and Utah terrain have:



    The manual shifter in the H-series clips through the center console, but only in reverse:


    The Covet traffic variants also don't make any sounds when the tires squeal, although all the other traffic cars I tested do.


    Also, would it be possible to make the odometer changeable in the Tuning menu? I'd like to make old/beater configs that don't look like they just rolled off the dealer lot.

    I have come across an issue in modding that seems to have existed for some versions now, it does not appear to be in anything on the known issues documentation page.
    Textures are not reloaded on using control + r. Only restarting the game reloads the files themselves. I can change the referenced file in main.materials.json, and change material attributes, and those are reloaded fine but updating the dds texture file itself doesn't work. Changing the referenced texture path to another file or one that doesn't exist, reloading, changing it back to the original texture file, then reloading again also doesn't work. It's as if it loads the texture into memory once, and then for some reason refuses to update it.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Take any vehicle/part and make note of the current color texture or open the materials file and take note of some PBR map texture.
    2) Replace that texture within an unpacked mod or unpacked file of some sort, then reload
    3) The texture doesn't update.

    I've done more digging on the graphics artifacting issue I was having and it seems it only appears on italy and only on the road, no other map has this issue, the artifacts appear most pronounced in the mirrors. Doesn't seem to be a drivers issue as mine are the latest for my card.

    I have a quick question and I'm not sure if this has been answered before, but will the openable doors, trunks, hoods, etc. be coming to the older cars?

    I guess they're like the animated shifters, which came to all cars (besides the T-Series), whether they've been remastered or not.

    You can make them visible by clicking on the "Include auxiliary debug content" button in the vehicle selector.

    This is a minor complaint, but I just noticed an issue in the description for the Covet MR Turbo Rally (M) configuration. It says 'Covet's,' which is a grammatical error. As it is a plural and not a possessive, it should say 'Covets.' Just to make sure that I wasn't going crazy, I fact-checked myself with this article.
