Progress update 2: Dummy Jbeam done and ready for testing and finetuning. Animation adapted to the dummy, might record a video of how it works after it's all tested.
Somehow seems like nothing broke in this mod in 0.26, not even the most complex stuff. I just need to remap the underglow binding from fog lights to the new 0.26 underglow function. But for now development will be paused while I fix my other mods.
Idk how you can judge quality from pictures and descriptions alone without driving it lol, I mean the model is really basic because it's the same irl, will probably look better with normal maps, and the Jbeam you shouldn't judge before you test it yourself. That being said I try my best so maybe the quality is good.
I know, maybe I worded it badly, basically lots of people call mods dev quality nowadays when they shouldn't even know what the quality is because they haven't used them for long enough or not at all. I would understand if the 3D model was good, but this one was 100000 times easier to model than a normal car I imagine.
I can tell just by those two videos, especially the second one, that this is already shaping up to be an S tier mod.
Well it certainly looks really cool when it crashes and that's one of the main points, I agree, I like how that aspect has turned out.
