actually yeah, a twin-engine config would be awesome, not just as a stupidly quick thing, but also for how well it shows off the physics engine of the game. I do wonder how they're going to set up the engine jbeam files going from the front to the back, whether they'll use one engine and the mid-engine slot moves it back, or if they'll have 2 copies of all the engines, one for the front, one for the back. (things like radiator hoses and exhausts will have to be different from front to back, but reusing the same files would probably optimise it a bit better.)
If twin engine will be a thing, they will definitely change some LUA stuff for easier support for this kind of thing. They definitely won't reuse the same files for the front and the rear.
Probably would just use a mid engine chassis in the parts thing and have specific engines for the MR covet
It's totally not like the documentation is still extremely unfinished and should be worked on regardless of the updates
I would release update on Sunday. Sunday evening is the worst part of weekend so releasing update will cheer up people
Speculation for 0.27: Burnside Special remaster, mostly because it needs it extremely badly. It's probably the most barebones vehicle in the game.
I think the Moonhawk fares way worse, it´d be great as a sedan and wagon, like the cars from back then. Also, the past couple updates have brought new versions of the Moonhawk, I believe they migh´t´ve been working on the remaster already every now and then. Maybe an update with both remasters along with some new thematic missions...
