Experimental 2013 NASCAR GEN 6 bodies

I've got some time off today, I can try working on it and seeing if that works. He said on post 1 someone could work on it, so I would assume it is fine, but I won't reupload it if I fix it without persmission of course

 

You just have to go into the zip, go into the vehicles folder and change the "nascar" folder's name to "nascarchevyss", that should do the trick. Since this mod has alot of bugs and oversights (especially the fact that the Chevy SS skins don't load in and every file is all over the place) I might start fixing this mod today.

I mean, you're right. He did say "it's better to release it so someone else can fix all the issues" basically. So Imma start fixing it whenever I can. And hey, if he lets me I can even fix that COT for him.

I got the SS to load now, just the skins are all bugged out or have no texture, I'll work on getting those to work today

 

now how do i make the chevy skins work lol

 

they have no json file so yea

No Json file would make sense, I'm looking at the skin.materials and all of the skins from the camaro mod are scripted identically in. An example being, Paul Menard's 27 car is scripted to be "46DoT.color" just like the 46 car from the Camaro mod is scripted in. I'm going to move the skins into a seperate pack, rescript them, and see if that helps. I should be able to build the skin pack exaclty the same way I have made the 2018-2021 skin packs as long as I change the scripts correctly, in theory
