so i was trying some tutorials making car parts because i want to mod. i tried all tutorials i could find and none worked, i made jbeam and dae files and still wont work so i need someone to help me i tried first with a sleeper cab (did not work) now a hood scoop... here is the images: terrible drawings

The very first line of the part needs to be changed from “pickup_hood” to something of your choosing. This will overwrite the normal pickup hood or the normal hood will overwrite yours, which seems to be what you’re experiencing.
