Trying to build a trailer to hold 500 tonnes. When I increase nodeWeight to bring it to 500 tonnes everyhing collapses. Increasing BeamSpring after a certain point crashes the game or makes it unstable. Any clue on how to achieve a frame/chassis capable of holding 500 tonnes ? Pic 1: Paused at first millisecond of spawning (Not an image after it settles after spawning it's an image of pausing before spawn + settle). Pic 2: Settled position after spawn moment.
"beams": [ ["id1:", "id2:"], {"beamPrecompression":1, "beamType":"|BOUNDED", "beamLongBound":1.0, "beamShortBound":1.0}, {"beamSpring":56001000,"beamDamp":10}, {"beamDeform":72200000,"beamStrength":"FLT_MAX"}, {"deformLimitExpansion":100000}, //Increasing beampdamp to 100 or above makes it explode
That would make sense. It's just alot of fine tuning. I don't really know much about jbeam so someone else with more experience may know better than I do.
Why are you using bounded beams, also it's not so easy to build a structure to withstand a lot of weight, it's extremely hard and needs careful finetuning, not some random numbers
I clearly found that out the hard way. BeamSpring is such a waste of time. Anything remotely close to a working number crashes the game/makes it unstable.
