I completely agree. and I agree that SOME modders do this to profit off those who don’t know better. And you’re right, they suck, but the keyword here is SOME. Many of the quality modders that have released paid mods just decided that they wanted to make a bit of money off of something they normally do for free. I think that’s perfectly OK. And it’s not like they’re goal is to make money off those who don’t know better, even if they do end up with that happening. At least they’re getting a quality mod from the deal, especially compared to some of the other stuff they’ve probably bought. I also don’t find a problem with making paid mods for an in development game, as long as the creator is prepared and would like to keep the mod updated and functioning. This goes back to the “some modders argument”. There are a lot of unethical modders out there, so don’t buy from them. Look for modders who actually care.
Never I downloaded several kennemation mods (without spending a single penny of course), they are all poor quality meshslaps. Even the file names are in conflict with BeamNG official content so it will cause bugs, not to mention that kennemation steals other modders' content such as Openable mod and Arcanox core. The problem is, there are lots of mods in Assetto Corsa and X-Plane that are way overpriced to the point that one mod is more expensive that the very game they runs on. If these overpriced mods are normalized, the community will become hell. Games like Dovetail Train Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator are even worse as they consider mods as DLCs, worse than EA.
while it was the fastest commercial airliner to enter service, the honour of fastest plane actually goes to the Lockheed SR-71 blackbird.
Akshooleeeee the Blackbird is the fastest air breathing plane. The honor of the fastest plane goes to the rocket-powered NASA X-15. TL;DR the Blackbird is the fastest plane that matters
I have purchased an Enduro car. Some of you may laugh. A lot of you will cry. It is a 1995 Cadillac de Ville with a 4.6L Northstar. It may or may not make it to the end because Northstar. If it DOES make it to the end, I will forever swear by the Northstar engine.
100 laps, ~35 cars on a 3/8 mile dirt oval, full body contact. I'll be filming as much as I can. The one I'm going to is two 100 lap races as a Labor Day special. Buy in is $100, grand prize per race is $2000. So assuming the Cadillac survives the first race, I should be able to register into the second one if they allow.
The 1995 de Ville came with two engine options upon further research; the 4.9L L26 High-Technology engine, or the 4.6L LD8 Northstar engine. Research says the 4.9L pushrod motor is fairly durable (unlike its 4.1L brother), but I want the Northstar for the extra 75HP. Either way, it'll be one of the fastest things on the track.
:Slaps forehead: Well good luck and have fun with that a valiant/dart would have been a smarter choice for the same money
Theoretically it wouldn’t be terribly hard to swap a 5.3 LS4 from the FWD cars into one of these, would be an interesting swap to see done.
